Sounds like a plan, and a good one at that. Just that "cheap" (as you think) view looks spectacular, Would make the game alot more interesting and if 1st person was put into play we'd be seeing alot of people playing differently.

note that the game is actually in 3rd person view when you change those variable values. I called it cheap because when its in game the model appearing now and then is a bit annoying and off-putting
