Fatal error with steam installation

Hello everyone!

My name is Marcus. I first started playing ESF in my freshman year of high school about 9 years ago. I've recently been feeling the itch to check it out again, so I downloaded the necessary files and did my steam install. Unfortunately, there seems to be a problem. The error I am receiving reads:

Fatal Error - could not load library c:\program files(x86)\steam\steamapps\mbutler001\half-life\esf\cl_clls\client.dll

If anybody can assist me with this issue, I'd appreciate it greatly.

Did you run Half-Life once before installing ESF?

Are you runing STEAM as an administrator.

There was also the fmod.dll file that used to cause that very error in the past. You would need to get the ESF beta fmod.dll file and replace it with the one you have ATM. Though i dont know if that file is still hosted anywhere.

I don't suppose any of you would be willing to email me that file? The one I have is only 125k, so I imagine that the updated one is of similar size.
