ESF-world comunity event

OK this time im speaking as part of the ESF-world staff.

Today we started a special event. The event is for all of you who want to play ESF 1.1 again after a long time and for all those that just want to see how ESF looked before the current version.

We have a ESF 1.1 server up and runing as of today and everyone is wellcome to the party. The more the better.

What you need to do is simple.

Download this pack

And extract it to your Half Life foulder.

It will creat a new directory called "esf-reversed" (cause we ussed ESF-reversed as a base for our repack). And in your STEAM games menu you should have a new mod that says ESF 1.1, so doubleckick that to start.

And since you do not need to remove your current ESF instalation that means less work for you. It also means that only people with the correct foulder name can see our server.

The event itself will lastaproximately one week. We will ofcourse extend the event length if the comunity wishes so. But we will only do that after the first week is over.

Well it was my idea. But besides the point. This event will only be successfull if people actually join in to it ^^

it might help if you can get the esf team to help encourage people to try it out?

well this souds good to me , i kinda started playing esf l8 , i didnt catch the previous versions,so this will be something new to me :], btw , is it a nonsteam servar or do i need steam ?

unfortunately there are alot of server problems, and certain people whos server sucks to much to melee in

not only that but its been years since any of us has played it, you wont be seeing much unless more people can get into it

ESF 1.1 wasn't made for Steam and the only way you can get it working properly is if you had access to the code.

Anyways, thats not entirely true about ESF not working with Steam. Just download the ESF Steam patch, it'll fix a lot of problems
