ESF Steam install problems

Iv installed many a mod to steam without having the game do it for me. But for some reason when I install ESF to the proper directory (steam/steamapps/e-mail/half-life) it dose not work. when i try loading it through the shortcut it places on the desktop it runs HL and crashes, same if i go through steam.

Anyone know whats going on?

BTW the steam install of 1.1 is down.

Did you replace 'e-mail' with your actual email?

Go to www.esf-world.com and get teh AUCTALL install..

The one on files section just does a 1.0 STEAM install *rolls eyes* to 1.1 Steam install

Its a frekken update.

You must not use the ESF shortcut, which comes with the installation. Try to start it from your "my games" list.

....yes i used my e-mail, im not stupid man. And I tried going through my games.

Im going to try that other install.

Are there any other sites to load the steam installer cuz if I load from esf-world it will take me at least 20 h

Or try another mirror, in the ESF site are enough of them.

There is only 1 that is for steam :/
Btw it only took me 7h to dl it from esf-world

heh took me 15 mins to DL it, but now i see no servers and if i try to start my own it still crashes =/

well happy for you, really im not =/. Im guessing no onw knows whats going on then eh? Oh well, guess ill keep trying the steam installer and hope that it works.

I found some server, but it crashed the second i tried to join one.


edit-

If it helps it keeps locking up and crashing ESF at the 'parsing info' part of loading into a server.

No other mod dose this. Can anyone help me out here?

I'm having trouble trying to download the esf steam pack in the ESF site, does anybody know where else I can get it?
