avenger winsWell, since you're not very good at thinking, I think we'll leave the thinking to the devteam instead.

Oh Raven, how would you know better than LSSJ? He's an ESF specialist! I think he's secretly a dev member, whereas you're just some person with a black nick on the forums!
There's a saying: There is no such thing as bad advertising. The more people aware of the mod that come in for whatever reason, to whine or to pay their respects to the team, the better imo. Whereas people with bad attitudes would certainly drive people away.I can definitely see that happening. At least the forum will be full of activity... of people whining about what they were given.
Apparently you don't even have Half Life so it doesn't matter what you thinkI voted for option 2. I'm pretty much done waiting for like 4 years now.
People have already made it clear ESF is not ZEQ2there is no real difference between these games.....zeq is a mod for quake3 and this is a mod for half life.........both are mods.........
and it works perfectly for zeq2! sure the community can suggest and upload maps BUT the main download only get controlled by zeth
make one rule: no complaining and do it SVN way..........there wont be any complainings at first place.....and even if make me mod. i delete them and ban the accounds before anyone sees this....i am playing this game since the alpha....and for this version now i waited already over 10 years.......
esf is becoming the new duke nukem!
but still do what u like.....but i think its insane what you do....show pics and stuff and get them all hungry for a game which wont come out in the next years....if it ever gets released....a few hours ago i checked for dragonball mods just for fun..there were really awesome mods....just search: "moddb dragonball mods" there are a few mods where u think "why the hell arent they out"? they also developed for years and never released a single file...but they made the community mad with pics and videos and stuff...
do you wanna keep that for you? then fine.....but if u wanna share it u should really think about it
I will buy Half Life once it is released. Not going to throw 10 dollars away and maybe do a year nothing with it.Apparently you don't even have Half Life so it doesn't matter what you think
I quoted this part, cause I think it's a shame Valve would never pay the Dev's, in case the game would do really well( by do well I mean be very popular) and cause a sudden mini-splosion of the Half-Life sales, even-though they would at least deserve some form of compensation from them, because I think it's quite brilliant, that they are not only still supporting an old-as-hell game but that they also made it look ridiculously good and made a really good gameplay, hell I think they achieved most of the good gameplay part, with the exception of some odd op mechanics, in ESF 1.2.3(this is forgetting the fact, that the gameplay will even improve a lot in the Final version) already unlike the... cough console exclusives. Correct me if I'm wrong but there really isn't a game like ESF within the ,,AAA titles" domain, or at least I haven't seen one, right? I'm also only saying this because they have worked for over 10 freaking years on this game if I'm not mistaken, all those years and no compensation? If that really is the case then someone should form a cult that worships them as saints because a dedication of such level is simply over 9000!A free mod made in people spare time without any form of compensation
1. You could play the gameI will buy Half Life once it is released. Not going to throw 10 dollars away and maybe do a year nothing with it.
The forum has a reputation feature, the star under every postI think Skyrider should look at implementing Thumps Up/Down for posts so I can give @Damaera some Thumbs Up on that comment
The team never can get paid for their work as stated a million times on these forums. They don't hold DBZ licences.I quoted this part, cause I think it's a shame Valve would never pay the Dev's, in case the game would do really well( by do well I mean be very popular) and cause a sudden mini-splosion of the Half-Life sales, even-though they would at least deserve some form of compensation from them, because I think it's quite brilliant, that they are not only still supporting an old-as-hell game but that they also made it look ridiculously good and made a really good gameplay, hell I think they achieved most of the good gameplay part, with the exception of some odd op mechanics, in ESF 1.2.3(this is forgetting the fact, that the gameplay will even improve a lot in the Final version) already unlike the... cough console exclusives. All that aside, I have faith this game will be quite the thing when it releases: ,,A Dragonball Game, that is actually a mod, that puts all the console exclusive DBZ games to shame."But I wonder if they would consider working for a big company(hopefully not EagleApples) if they attract enough attention(that is if they are not already), because the talent level of the team also seems to be over 9000.
I see no reason why people who haven't validated or bought Half-Life shouldn't be subject to criticism in a poll that largely affects people who own Half-Life. Furthermore, there's no reason to assume the people who don't have HL now will get it in the future, unless Zeo buys it for all of them. They will find a way to get around whatever protection the devteam set up, and then they will come back to the forum to whine about lacking features. Please stop this nonsensical righteous indignation.I just want to point out that the attitude towards unvalidated members is really ****ed up. Even if they don't have Half-Life, their opinion matters just as much as ours. Some of the people have already stated that they'll buy Half-life 1 when the update is released or near release, and some of them already have Half-Life, but simply aren't validated. So drop the **** towards them. Seriously.
Fairly sure that the only people who want the two phase option are the "now now now" people, no matter how you dress it up and tie a bow on it.As for what Deverz said towards the option 2 voters with bias, I would just like to state that not everyone who voted wants the game "now now now". I recommend reading up on what some of the earlier, quality replies said about the Phases option.
Did someone disable it for me, then? The forum has a reputation feature, the star under every post
For some reason it's hidden unless you mouse over orDid someone disable it for me, then?
I do. Again, not all non-validated users are without a copy of Half-Life. You're unvalidated and have a copy of Half-Life. You voted in the poll, I'm not criticizing you for doing such a thing despite being an unvalidated user. If you took the time to read my post, I said that some people have already stated that they will be buying Half-Life 1 when the update is released. I don't know how you're mixing that up with me assuming such a thing. As for your comment about people finding a way to get past the protection the team set up.. really? That happens everywhere for anything. People get past anything, and complain about things they aren't happy about. Get used to it.I see no reason why people who haven't validated or bought Half-Life shouldn't be subject to criticism in a poll that largely affects people who own Half-Life. Furthermore, there's no reason to assume the people who don't have HL now will get it in the future, unless Zeo buys it for all of them. Fortunately for us, you don't make a living for assuming and making guesses. Despite me personally wanting the mod to have a full-blown final release, I voted for option 2. I lost interest in playing the game long ago, and will most likely only play it on occasional times. However, contrary to what you assume, I do care about the success of this mod, and I explained my reasoning behind picking the second option. Which in fact, is not because I want the release "now now now".Fairly sure that the only people who want the two phase option are the "now now now" people, no matter how you dress it up and tie a bow on it.
