Man, I completely forgot about MechMod. I was pretty excited about that one. NNK? Not so much.

Yea, I got excited for that as well. The original plan was it was going to be a sourcemod (lol) and the Hl1 version was just them killing time or whatever they said. Then the beta gets releasedand the melee doesn't work and everyone stopped playing after about like 3 hours.


Then they gave up on the sourcemod after finding out how much of a ***** the thing was to work with. Owned.

I actually enjoyed MechMod. The melee was pretty awful, but I thought all the other attacks were pretty cool. Also yeah, I remember the shaders being a really big thing at the time. Nothing like that had ever been done before with a HL1 mod and it was pretty ******* awesome. Jason was a boss.

You know, the team should make some community play session events once in a while. Like... everyone available at a certain day and hour joins a certain game (MechMod? Kanonball Z? Maybe ESF?) and pwnage begins (I mean ESF team getting pwned).

Photoshop? Haha. The Photoshop is a lie. The developers use Gimp. That's why it takes so long to create all those fake images.
