my opinion is that esf is the best dragon abll z game ever made. AND IT'S FREE! wow! the best DBZ is a mod and totally free. Budokai and all the rest havent even come close to reaching the standard of esf.

Really, you cant compare the two... theyre whole two different games man. Not to say theyre on two completely systems... the Budokai series is a fighting game. aka tekken, aka streetfighter, aka mortal kombat... etc.

And besides, if you really think about it, Budokai has so much more then esf : \

All the DBZ transformations from DBZ, a crap load more of characters, a crap load of combos/moves, and better graphics. Thats all the stuff ESF should have, but doesnt at the moment (dont start flaming me, i said at the moment), and all the stuff ESF has that Budokai doesnt, Budokai shouldnt have them. ESF is sort of an FPS game, where as Budokai is a fighting game.

the only thing lacking in esf is story line but that's because it's not that type of game.

another difference is that you cant socialize with the people your fighting with, unless your playing 2 player on budokai 2, hell even when playing bots they attempt to make conversation

You cant compare the gameplay man, theyre two different types of games.

ESF is pretty much a FPS when Budokai is a fighting game. Whens the last time you played a fighting game in which you play the same way you play ESF? You dont, because thats not a fighting game.

if you think about it there both fighting games but esf you can move in every direction and a few extra things. so wouldnt the gameplay be the same?

Dude, theyre different type of games... seriously. ESF is a third-person shooter with the theme of DBZ. The Budokai series are fighting game. When I say fighting game, I mean the Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Street fighter type of a game. When I say First/third person shooter, I mean games like Cstrike or Half life types of games. Theyre arent the same, the gameplay cant be compared.
