Hmm... A question. Why would it take twice as long? Didnt they say it was going to be easy to convert HL mods into HL2? And... If the game isnt out yet... How the hell are there HL2 mods in the making already? It seems kind of stupid.
Oh, by the way... HL2/Doom 3 a myth? Do you really think theyd waste their time making all of these pictures/video clips and shows and stuff? Nah..... They would realize it'd be very dangerous to go through all of that, and then have no product... I think they just got lazy :]
On topic though, I agree with what Checkplease said... A DBZ mod for HL2 will come out, dont worry. And besides, I think HL2 will keep us busy messing around with all the new features and the like for a long, long time. Think bout it... You finish the game once, then you do it again but you do it better... Then you do it again with cheats for the heck of it... Then you do it again with cheats but you fool around again... By that time, Cstrike for HL2 (Condition Zero?) Will be out and youll be playing that... Etc etc, you wont need a mod for a while after HL2 comes out, and that leaves the ESF team more then enough time to decide, and if they want too convert to HL2. So after youre done with all your fooling around youll be like "Hey, did ESF end up converting to HL2???? I better go to their website to check it out," and then youll come here and on the front page will [hopefully] be some kickass picture of some character and all...
Really, I dont think ESF will ever die. We are enjoying it so much now, why would a new game stop us from playing it? We all have it, we all enjoy it, and we all play it. No reason to just leave it just because a new game is coming out... It just wouldnt happen if we all truely like this commmunity and the game.
