For once, I agree with ultrassj_vegeta. This thread does seem a little pointless. Any of the questions you have asked so far have already been answered in other threads.

And there is no point comparing BFP and ESF. For one they are two different mods for two different games: Halif-life and quake 3.

Welcome to the ESF forums Selkerot. Only the ESF Alpha 2.0 is out at the moment. And there are no transformations available in it.

As far as BFP and ESF. Well as said before BFP is for Quake 3. And ESF is for Halflife. In my opinion, BFP is really fast and flashy, but seriously lacks in gameplay. It gets boring really quick. ESF on the other hand looks good, isn't quite as fast as BFP and has much better gamplay. My favorite part about it is the powerstruggles.

Currently the ESF team is working on beta 1, and from what we hear it kicks ass! There are a couple of small videos you can download in the developers journals, to give you a taste of whats coming.

and bfp yea too fast! I saw a copple of videos and there cool man.
