It would be nice if after choosing and installing a certain voice pack (English or Japanese) the sounds could be switched back and forth with ease.

This could easily be done with a simple .bat (batch file).

You can switch back and forth by keeping the installation file, and overwriting your current ESF setup. However, by doing this you erase all custom things you had, including userconfig.

Just copy Japanese sounds to another folder, then install english, and also copy it to another one, and just copy over what you like at the moment! Why you wanna reinstall whole game? You should do thing like that at the beggining:p! BTW why do you think about my suggestion "Hiding Power":p

The point is we dont want to have to reinstall and move crap around just to toggle between english and japanese sounds.

Don't look at me, i originally had the jappack inside the english sound folder:p Joe suggested the installer option, go yell at him:p I think it is possible to have a toggle but it would really be a pain in the ass to make it (or so i'm told). Oh well, maybe if you catch Hars on a good day:)

errmmm... omfg lol even I can do a toggle thingy in like 2 seconds IN VISUAL BASIC
for that metter!!!

but if you say HARS then I guess you want that included in the game... hl coding thingy

I personally that such a toggle.. .to put it in the game... its really useless!
but it dependes on the way you look at it
like if you say that a cvar will be used to change the folder assigned for sounds then it sounds fine
but to copy the whole thing to somewhere, then copy the one you want
then to copy back the other thing to somewhere tempy but safe... a cvar... a VB THINGY!!!
