Perhaps due to your unfortunate experience(s) in the past, you associate England with tea and ugly women, but it's not actually like that. 1.) There's nothing wrong with tea. 2.) Get some better dates.

England is a fantastic country. The people are mostly friendly, it's pretty clean, I -like-the generally overcast climate, there's lots of things to see.. sandwiches abound.. (lol), and you can lose pounds by shopping! Okay, that was lame. *dies*

it's nice n holland to, just dont go to amsterdam.(there are pickpocket's everywhere)
ijmuiden and sneek are nice places, it's atleast saver there.(and i live in ijmuiden =P )

I've already been to Italy, France and England through such programmes... I think you should go! It's a great experience! Go for it!
