Do you know what a parable is? Jesus was fond of using them. Am I comparing myself to Jesus? Am I literally saying if I am not the son of God, then I'm God himself?

Yes, I am. And so it should come as no surprise that when you speak to me, I expect to be addressed as M'Lord Zeonix, and nothing less. If you are especially affectionate, you may call my Lord Imperator Zeonix, God Emperor of the Universe. Nothing too fancy.

If you believe yourself to be on my level, which is a preposterous notion to be sure, feel free to write me at my home of record. I'll be sure to promptly wipe my ass with your letter of apology, which will state point by point why you've failed me.

But that's neither here nor there. Since I've so easily distracted you, and you've yet to write a reply regarding the original topic, I'll go ahead and claim final victory. You may fight this claim in the Force Pit. Which you do not have access to. And never will.
Actually I am writing your response while I listen to a podcast and babysit your comments simultaneously, lol. If you'd like, I can send you a personal message once I've posted my reply for this ongoing discussion.

Furthermore you're god? I didn't know fat trolls could fly.

You must be Southpark's version of God hahaha. let me find that video for you.

Meh here's a glimpse of him. I'm sure you've seen it before lol.

What's that? You need to speak up. I can't hear you over the sound of my supremacy.

Ahh, a desperate attempt to try and illicit some sort of anger in an attempt to cloud my resolve? Unfortunately for you I see through these feeble attempts.

Does one get angry when told the sky is blue? Why should you be angry that I tell you I reign supreme over you?

HAHAHA! this is hilarious... For anyone who doesn't know, Hlev was the equivalent to our current Diomedes in terms of the guy I was debating. I guess my idea was totally shot down and that's why it's got a 3 to 1 approval rating huh? Right... okay... did you even look at it recently? Sad, you're still harboring some resentment :-/
Your version of Boss Mode would never make it to the game. That's what I meant by your ideas being shot down. Votes won't help you. Deal with it.

Except that the only real reason it won't be added in is because of time constraints. A good idea is a good idea. If they had pre-planned it out from the beginning it'd be more probable. But like I said to Grega, I'd like to see ESF:F released some time this decade.

1. You have no idea what you're talking about.
2. Making an additional game mode would be piece of cake (unless it's retardedly complex, which it wouldn't be because it's ESF) compared to the real things that need to be done: maps, models, effects, sounds(?), bug fixes. If I had done Team Game within a few hours with a scripting language, surely it wouldn't take long for some ESF coder to do it with a high level programming language.

If you're to argue with this, look point 1.

First off, let's start with your last statement:
I'm going to go ahead and declare victory. If I can put zero effort into an argument and still not lose, it's pretty clear you're not worth arguing with. But by all means, continue.
Zero effort, huh? Then I imagine your responses won't exactly be elaborate nor thought-invoking... I'm going to GUESS there's going to be some childish insults here? Well, let's see!.....

I get it, you don't know how to quote things, I've learned that about you by now.
Said Lenny, before George put a bullet through his head.
There's childish brain-dead jargon comment #1!..... let's see if we can find any more half-assed attempts in your abilities to argue with a mentally stable adult....

Whoa whoa whoa..... There is definitely over 100 hours worth of dungeons, craft-able items, side quests, etc to be had in Skyrim. I've just got to flat out refute that statement.
It would not take you 100 hours to go to every dungeon and fight every enemy. Being able to spend 100 hours in a game doesn't mean there's 100 hours worth of content in that game. You've yet to refute my statement. You simply said the opposite.
But how would you know? You've never even attempted it. It most certainly did take over 100 hours for me to experience much of the content and that's WHILE I used Fast Travel liberally. You sure you really know how many dungeons and side quests there are in this game? There is WELL over 100 hours of content in this game. And by content we're talking about Main quest, side quests, crafting, and Dragon Killing to acquire new shouts, right? And that's not even a complete list of the content available by any means. But you never experienced it so how could anyone expect you to know? It's just funny that you'd insist on arguing over it. Like a virgin coaching me on getting laid.

That's like saying you can't be attracted to a woman until she's got breast and butt implants. But honestly if you haven't truly played the vanilla game as I have (and all other PS3/360 owners have) then you don't truly know what this game has to offer. You went and modded it up before you got to truly experience it in it's entirety. That's fine, to each his own, but you can't claim that this game doesn't offer over 100 hours of content when you yourself chose not to seek it out.
Or like saying I won't date a woman with Downs syndrome. I'm sure you were quite content playing Skyrim on a console (Aahahahahaha), but I prefer not to wait a year before most of the bugs are fixed. Luckily, the mod community began un****ing the game almost immediately, and to this day, they're still updating their list. Everything else, be it ENB settings, new armors, weapons and villages, new behaviors, better gameplay mechanics e.g. make combat visceral and less of a slug fest, weather systems, rebalancing, etc all add to the foundation laid by Bethesda. But they certainly improve the game, and add a layer of depth not otherwise found. The game is infinitely better with those mods and contribute directly to me spending over 200 hours ingame.
Lol, I'm not disputing the potential fun that mods bring to the table, but don't lie... You prefer to wait a year because you can't afford a $60 game. I get it. You commented yourself earlier about how $60 dollars is a lot of money. But anyways, I've got the game on both actually but I much preferred to play it on the console so I could relax on my couch and play it with my girlfriend, because vanilla certainly provided a great deal of entertainment for me. So why fix what aint broken? The game was a masterpiece. Maybe the pleasure receptors in your brain have burnt out from playing too many games, because we certainly enjoyed Vanilla in my console on an HDTV while sitting on our nice comfy couch for a loooooong time. So, like I said, that's your personal preference if you prefer to Frankenstein the shit out of your games before you experience all of their original content, but don't try and tell me how much content is in the original if you never actually experienced it as extensively as I did.

FOR you. That's fine, if that's how you want to play the game, but you've chosen to miss out on tons of content in the process.
Miss out on content....by adding content? You have no idea what you're talking about, do you?
We're talking about the original content here. You claim it doesn't offer over 100 hours worth, and I refute that with personal experience. If you don't believe me, that's fine, but how can you truly believe in your own assumption when you've not experienced all of it yourself? Your argument doesn't have a leg to stand on.

That's your opinion, that's fine, but I personally was fascinated completing all of the side quests and found MANY of them to be very interesting. It's like a book full of short stories. You can't just read a couple stories, and then say "This ENTIRE book sucks!" ...
Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and say you're still reading the Redwall series if you think the storyline in TES is top notch. Want to experience a game full of disconnected and interconnected side quests that introduce, and expand upon lore while adding depth to the game? Play either of the Witchers. Skyrim doesn't come close. And your analogy falls flat as Skyrim had a main narrative that was found wanting. The rest was fluff.
Who the hell cares or knows what the "Redwall" series is? Way to pull that unrelated reference out of your ass. But anyways, back to our main subject here.. I DID indeed find much of the dialogue and side quests to be very entertaining, diverse, and unique. They made the world feel ALIVE and interesting. It always kept things fresh for me. And no, I won't be playing The Witcher, I'm not at all fond of it's combat system. Also, my analogy was and still is perfect but it all boils down to a matter of personal opinion. The rest of the game was not "Fluff" and such a generalization has scary undertones at your ability to perceive things as a whole. The reason I say that, is because most of the game truly is about experiencing all of the side quests and dungeons. While doing said side quests and dungeons you're able to easily accumulate over 100 played hours in the game. Why would all of this content be there if it was not the REAL meat and bones of this game? Ask yourself that.

I don't worship them, but I can pay respect to the tremendous amount of work they've put in to this product and readily will admit that they truly did go above and beyond for this game.... I'm not speaking about Oblivion, which had a lot of content but fell short on a few fundamental concepts in my opinion. But to see how these games have evolved from Marrowind all the way to Skyrim has VERY promising implications for their MMO.
Irrelevant. We're talking about what's been released about the game, and the game itself. Based on what's out there, I'm not remotely interested. Get over it.
Irrelevant? So you'll watch 5 minutes of trailer footage and try to assume the entire game's downward trajectory? Sounds kind of like what you did with Vanilla Skyrim. It's like your thought process is "Let's assume the worst, and not even play the game. Let's put more faith in no-name modders than the original designers. If I can't have no-names drastically altering my game then it's not worth playing." I simply don't agree with it. Our views are different as clearly I enjoy a product which you do not. And just to throw this out there, I don't know how many times I've got to reiterate how little I care about your personal motivations for playing or not playing the game. Go on being pessimistic if you'd like. I'll be optimistic with faith in the team's capabilities for game development.

Crappy employees will be unemployed... I concur. Lol. But you don't have to be vice president material for a company to hire you either... These guys aren't amateurs.
And again, you miss the point. I'm done trying to beat it into your thick skull.
Childish brain-dead jargon comment #2! Actually, you missed multiple points in many of the things that I've been saying. I guess it got a little too deep for you to comprehend, philosophically speaking. I really don't see this argument going any where. You can sit there with a closed mind if you'd like, but it doesn't allow much room for this debate to grow. You offer no opinions here. Your only statement basically says "You didn't agree with me, therefore you're stupid". Lol. I find that dissapointing on an intellectual level.

Thank you for admitting that it's easy, that at least shows some respect for what they've accomplished. Just Cause 2 was a good game too I'm not refuting that. But to say "I don't hear their fans calling someone spoiled because they're not going to pick up their next title for a month because LOOK AT WHAT WE DID WITH JUST CAUSE 2." is not only implying that you're constantly watching their fans and reading all of their conversations, AND that you're implying a Just Cause 2 MMORPG, lol but also.... If someone were to say "Just Cause 3 is gonna suck!" and you loved Just Cause 2, then feel free to defend it in the interest of the public who might be liable to believe an uneducated opinion about a game from a person who's probably never really played it past the demo.
I spent 200+ hours in Skyrim. I obviously liked the game. It doesn't merit me going apeshit about their mmo, however, which you seem to be unable to comprehend. As for the rest of that paragraph, it's pure idiocy. I don't feel the need to defend something I did not partake in creating and have zero stake in. It's a game. If someone doesn't like it, they don't like it. Stating Just Cause 3 is going to be amazing because Just Cause 2 was good is pretty stupid. Much like saying this mmo is going to be amazing because Skyrim was amazing. They're different animals, and they're in new territory for the company. If it failed, zero people would be surprised.
Childish brain-dead jargon comment #3! I never garunteed the game to be amazing, but I do vouch for it as being highly likely. Their transition in to the MMO world will be one of the easiest one's in the history of online gaming, considering all of their projects prior. Seriously TES games have essentially been putting a single player in to MMO worlds.

Soooo, you came to this forum because......? Lol. To hate? Well, I don't care whether or not you care, I'm not a spokesperson or a salesman for Bethesda. But to throw a DBZ analogy out there: It's like, if you saw what Goku did on Earth by defeating Vegeta, and you knew he was coming to Namek, wouldn't you feel a little bit secure in saying that he's totally going to kick ass the next time you see him?
What is the purpose of a forum? A place to hold conversations on a myriad of topics, correct? Now, I know you probably wanted this to be a giant circle-jerk, because that's what you're into (Not that there's anything wrong with that), but I am in no way obligated to operate by the parameters you set for your discussions. So basically, I'll say what I want, where I want and where I want. Just Cause. I understand you take issue with that. That's alright. Because I don't care.
Yes, it is I who has legions of horny groupies backing ME up in everything I say... Wait, no, that's been you and your fanboys ever since we started this discussion. Part of me wonders if you've got a multiple personality disorder and are just one insane man posting over multiple accounts. That would be hilarious. But that's neither here nor there right now. I just wanted to have a civil debate, but you keep on throwing out the uncreative insults which are essentially rehashes of things I said to you and your groupies earlier. That's the funniest part about it.

Your undying devotion? You never liked the game in the first place, lol... You can lead a horse to water but if he's not thirsty he's not going to drink. But seriously, your insults are juvenile lol. Especially to me of all people... Try using that crap on Horatio or someone similar, but not on me, lol. See, I get in to arguments on these boards because I take thoughts a little deeper... You want to backtrack and stop your thought at "They're doing their job". Yes, they are employees for Bethesda and they get paid to create video games, but the bigger picture is much deeper than that. If you don't want to look at the bigger picture then fine, don't engage me in these arguments. I pity the foo.
200 hours in Skyrim. Hundreds of hours in Fallout 3, Oblivion and Morrowind. I think, perhaps, I like their major titles. That doesn't mean I'm going to turn into you and plead a case on their behalf because my life revolves around video games. You keep talking about the big picture, but the big picture is they care creators and you are a consumer. In exchange for their art, you give them money. There's nothing more to it. They aren't making the world a better place to live. They're providing a product. Get over yourself.
You're proving my point that you don't see the bigger picture here. "They are creators and you are the consumer" is not at all the bigger picture, lol, you are doing exactly what I said you do: you dumb things down because if you delve too deep in to the concepts which I've mentioned, you might find yourself realizing that you're incorrect which scares your ego. That's why I pity you.

Ahh yes, reading comprehension is a very difficult subject for some.
Says the guy who missed an entire post and declared victory during a discussion.
I missed your post because you've misused the forum codes for quoting. And then there's the irony factor in the fact that you're so lazy that you continue to repeat the things that I said earlier back to me. IE now you've begun declaring victory, LOL!

I guess you have no concept of how difficult it'd be to implement a sophisticated match making system in to a game like Skyrim... Don't you think they would have done so if it were so easy? We can all assume they're pretty smart guys, right? Jeez... You expect a game with: Lol.
If only there were systems in place in mmos past and present that could be mimicked and improved upon. All of the issues you've brought up aren't issues. It's just you making up nonsense, and then arguing about that nonsense. It has absolutely no bearing on reality, or on their game. You don't seem to realize that.
Yeah, because it's just as simple as copy/pasting a few lines of code, right? Your ignorance on the subject of game development is appaling.

Uhh... okay... I'll just say what I said before, about you not looking at the bigger picture. We're talking about BANG for your BUCK here. There's tons of videogames out there with the same price tag which do not offer even a quarter of the content offered in VANILLA Skyrim. That's all I'm sayin.
And it doesn't matter because unless they pull another Morrowind out of their ass, its going to be replaced by the next iteration.
There won't be a "TES:O 2" any time within the next 10 years. You brought up the whole "different beasts" thing, didn't you? Yet you claim that theyr next elder scrolls game is going to push this one by the way side? Haha, you didn't really think that through did you?

Never said I wanted to pay more for it, but it certainly is a bang for our buck. A Masterpiece of modern gaming. They KNEW that people were only going to pay $60 dollars for the game, and yet they made it as amazing as they did.... THAT, to me, deserves some respect and acknowledgement. But someone like you who decided to mod it up and Frankenstein the hell out of it would not have the experience to warrant a truly educated opinion about the game. That's fine, and I think with that simple fact, I can say that there's not much left for us to talk about here.
I'm sorry, I can't take someone seriously if they have absolutely no idea how modding works for the Elder Scrolls games. If you think you're getting the "full experience" by playing the game on a console, you're a) out of your mind and b) not even a real fan.

We're talking about two different games here. Mine, the one intended to be played from Bethesda, is the real version. YOURS is the Gumbo version. Yours is just a mash up of player-created content mixed in with the real thing. Mine is the real thing in it's purest form, which allows me to have a better educated opinion on the original game and thus make an educated assessment about Bethesda's future successes as a game developer. I assess that their transition in to the MMO world will be smooth as glass. They've been creating single-player MMO worlds for years. Trust me, for anyone else out there who is wary: They know what they're doing.

Honestly, why are you trying? If we put it to a vote, everyone in the thread is gonna vote Dio for a win, and you for a loss.

And you were -just- whining about how Dio's in-quote reply was making it hard to read, then you do this shit? Are you just trying to win the argument by making sure no one wants to read you?

It's very simple... I posted the comment which he last replied to, then comes his response to it, then comes my new response. Very simple... But for you to get all worked up about it makes me wonder if you're actually Dio and upset that it's not easy to simply hit "Reply with Quote" and raise a big middle finger up against the proper use of forum codes.

Well anyways I'll be back in a bit. I might be going out on a date tonight and then to my friends house. I'll response whenever I get back.

P.S. Hlev I'd love to see u try and code my system in to the game as effortlessly as you claim to be able to. HAH! ... Nothin but a Script-kiddie.

First off, let's start with your last statement:
Zero effort, huh? Then I imagine your responses won't exactly be elaborate nor thought-invoking... I'm going to GUESS there's going to be some childish insults here? Well, let's see!.....

There's childish brain-dead jargon comment #1!..... let's see if we can find any more half-assed attempts in your abilities to argue with a mentally stable adult....

I guess the allusion to Of Mice and Men flew right over your Cuckoos Nest. To be expected when dealing with an opossum.

But how would you know? You've never even attempted it. It most certainly did take over 100 hours for me to experience much of the content and that's WHILE I used Fast Travel liberally. You sure you really know how many dungeons and side quests there are in this game? There is WELL over 100 hours of content in this game. You keep making these statements, and I'm not entirely sure why. Do you know what modding Skyrim does? Because it sounds like you think its replacing content rather than existing parallel to it. An easy mistake to make when you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. As previously stated, and as previously ignored, I've put in over 200 hours. Most of that was simply me meandering about. I could have completed most of the game short of crafting, which was the most boring aspect to me, well under 60 hours and still have time to visit my floating airship. Oh wait, you don't have one of those because you think Skyrim belongs on a console.

Lol, I'm not disputing the potential fun that mods bring to the table, but don't lie... You prefer to wait a year because you can't afford a $60 game. I get it. You commented yourself earlier about how $60 dollars is a lot of money.

Uh...you realize Skyrim was 60 bucks on the PC when it came out at the exact same time as on console, right? Which is when I bought it. Does that make a video game worth 60 bucks? **** no. 60 bucks goes a long way. I can eat for a week on 60 bucks. I understand that mommy and daddy provide everything little billy needs because he can't fend for himself, and so he needs to take his aggression out on the internet, but for those of us who, you know, pay pills, sometimes you need to prioritize. Luckily, I make enough money now that I can buy whatever I want and not worry about it, but old habits die hard, and I'd rather pinch my pennies than spend it all just because I can.

We're talking about the original content here. You claim it doesn't offer over 100 hours worth, and I refute that with personal experience. If you don't believe me, that's fine, but how can you truly believe in your own assumption when you've not experienced all of it yourself? Your argument doesn't have a leg to stand on.

It's interesting that your argument is I'm wrong, because you experienced 100 hours worth of content, and your opinion is more right than mine. I've played the game more than you, with both the OC and the additional content made available by mods (again, they exist parallel to each other and wont overwrite unless you want it to, like in the way of graphic mods). This point alludes you for no reason other than you're being an idiot and refuse to change your mind on anything. Also, you experienced the worst possible version of Skyrim, so whatever.

Go on being pessimistic if you'd like. I'll be optimistic with faith in the team's capabilities for game development.

It's a childrens book. For children. And you're a child. And your ability to determine a good narrative from a mediocre one is incredibly suspect at this point so...you know what? It's alright. Barney style. You don't read anything worth reading, so you think Skyrim had a compelling story because your arsenal of stories is limited to shit. Bingo bango. The rest of this paragraph is you still not having a clue as to what modding does to Skyrim. Which is still hilarious, because you have to be a complete moron to think its somehow destroying the game. Not that you are. Well, you might be, but I'm not one to judge. Well, I am. And I have.
I've watched just a tad more than 5 minutes of gameplay footage. It has nothing to do with assuming the worst. It has everything to do with being neutral, rather than an optimistic consumer adamant about throwing his money. If they want my money, they need to prove to me why their product is worth it. They've yet to do that.

Lol. I find that dissapointing on an intellectual level

Philosophically speaking? Ahahaahha, you can't possibly exist! Are you guys punking me? Am I on a tv show! Aha, you got me guys. Guys? Holy shit, you're this stupid? Mother of God, Billy, how are you still alive?

Childish brain-dead jargon comment #3! I never garunteed the game to be amazing, but I do vouch for it as being highly likely. Seriously TES games have essentially been putting a single player in to MMO worlds

Lmao, right. "I can't promise its going to be amazing....but it's probably going to be amazing!" Again, if I'm transported into the world and women suck me off all day, you'll have piqued my interest. Until then, its another fantasy mmo with sword and fairies. Hooray.

It's hilarious, because no one is backing me up. They legitimately don't like you. Several of them are interested in the game, but their disdain for you is putting a bad taste in their mouths, and so its taking some of the shine off the game. Like I said before, the idea that people like you will be playing this game is enough to put me off.

The bigger picture is you speaking "philosophically" about these people working really, really hard out of the kindness of their hearts and wanting absolutely nothing in return, right?. Right. So here's the deal, at this point, they could make a half-assed version of a TES game and you'd buy it on reflex. Because you're a consumer. They're selling you a product, you're using your money and spending it on video games. That gives them money, which they spend on other products, ad infinitum, and thats the economy in a nutshell. If you think talking about their artistic spirit means anything, you're high as a kite and about as useless as a football bat. You're literally saying nothing at this point. Words spew forth from your mouth in a river of shit, and frankly, it's getting old.

I missed your post because you've misused the forum codes for quoting. And then there's the irony factor in the fact that you're so lazy that you continue to repeat the things that I said earlier back to me. IE now you've begun declaring victory, LOL!

You missed my post the first time because you've never seen someone do that before. You missed my post the second time because you have a learning disability.

Yeah, because it's just as simple as copy/pasting a few lines of code, right? Your ignorance on the subject of game development is appaling.

Your ignorance on the subject of spelling is appalling. The hardest part is coming up with an idea that works. If you have a blueprint right in front of you, its suddenly a lot easier. That's why China was able to mimic the F-35 so well. Not that you'd know anything about.....well....anything.

There won't be a "TES:O 2" any time within the next 10 years. You brought up the whole "different beasts" thing, didn't you? Yet you claim that theyr next elder scrolls game is going to push this one by the way side? Haha, you didn't really think that through did you?

You're ridiculous. I was talking about Skyrim, your Jesus in a disc, being replaced by the next TES. Reading comprehension, Billy. It's important.

That's funny, because the mods I've used were embraced by Bethesda on their forums. But what does Bethesda really know about their vision. You're the Boy Wonder Billy!
Yeah, I actually did win this time. You used your nos too soon, bro. Blew your load before it was time. Gotta live life 1/4 mile at a time. Ride or die.

Those are The Fast and the Furious references, dipshit.

Hey guys, he's going on a date. And then to his friend's house. Talk about pessimism.

You complain at me for making assumptions about yourself while I actually have some remote idea of your personality and your intelligence level. You know NOTHING about hleV's coding ability. That's it. You can't know anything. It'd not take him long to build up your shtty game mode, and is that a problem? No! You're just making assumptions, based on.... nothing!

The first paragraph didn't even make sense - DaRkOwNs has a completely different personality type to Diomedes! They are obviously different people!

And come on, BlueSaiyan. I'd think that you would understand the idea that there are other people in the world, those that might, I don't know, want to read your post in a forum without wanting to figuratively stab their eyes with a fork? Wild idea, I know, but I'm afraid the only fix is a deadly one... to S.T.F.U.

Nobody's retarded enough to ever attempt that.

And you should re-read what I wrote. I said that it wouldn't be hard to implement a game mode which actually fits ESF (and thus, isn't complex), not yours.
Your version of Boss Mode won't be implemented not because of time constraints, but because it's terrible.

Hey guys I'm back.... is Diomedes ready to get destroyed? oh P.S. Dio, it's not pessimism to not expect sex on the first date. Rather, I wouldn't even want to be with a woman who was willing to do that. That's not a keeper. But I guess you're used to getting laid on the first night, that's what happens when you pay, right?

Anyways.... Step in to my slaughter house, Dio... Dio the Dinosaur, I'm gonna make chicken nuggets out of you in the shape of T-rex's. You ready?

BlueSaiyan, you do realize that he implied you were going to need support from a friend after she broke up with you? Jeez. How did you even interpret it like that, Billy?

Brain fart much? You must be one of those clingy guys who thinks he has a girlfriend after a first date, hahahah.... the implications of THAT are the saddest thing I'll see all day.

Why apologize? You tried your best. You live a life knowing that no matter how hard you try, you still screw it up.

edit: that's why I had to step in and help you win that argument with Filipe.
