ECX Release Candidate 1 released today

I can't even join a server. I timeout every single time. I hate this crap system, I want my beastly system back.

Oh well, no big loss for me really. The only thing I was even remotely interested in checking out was fusion. Oh well, it probably sucks anyway...

Still, the ECX team really needs to learn how to make their product available to the masses (1GB of RAM for a Half-Life game?). Adding classes that nobody is (ever?) going to use, like Yamcha and Android 18... So much crap they've added... That, and the dragonballs don't even seem to work. But I've only cared to try 2 maps for them, because the load times are ****ing ridiculous. Ah, another crappy addon for ESF. The joy I don't feel...

Given how many ESF-addons there were, it's nice to see one actually getting through and not sucking completely. EEA, BTL, EVM, ECX, EVO, SSJ4M...i'd say ECX is the winnar. Not bad for a first release.

It would be nice to see them used in movie projects or re-enactment battles.

It's not crappy at all. It's something new that people do enjoy playing. I "might" change one of my servers in to ECX when it is fully stable. I can't even join any ECX server because I get a "Channel Overload" error all the time. You should not say it "sucks" when you haven't even tried it out, and I do comment you of what you said related to the fusion.

Yamcha is one of the best chars in the begining. Same goes for most nontrans characters. They have an advantage in the begining but loose it later when teh others transform to the final stages.

My personal fav in there is hercule. Jetpack attack FTW XD

ECX is pretty awesome, it's Project Tien, Gotenks and Vegetto all in one along with many other projects.

There are some bugs but is still really great to play (especially with my new Athlon Dual Core 5200!).

LOL, they say 1gb RAM recomended, but i can play it fine on my low end comp with only 256mb RAM

ok, call me blind for absolutely missing this thread of all threads. I loved EVM coz it really was good. And i guess i HAVE A GREAT WEEK AHEAD OF ME WITH ECX.. Darn caps lol.

I'll be sure to give my judgement and maybe a sumamry of characters and powers tomorrow.
