to add to another piece of the Zeta puzzle, ive now found this statement.
:Zeta will be down for two days due to server connection problems. Sit tight and wait for Nick to return from his trip.
Does this mean its just another server prob, or that the new zeta is being put up in two days (due to other information, (look up)) looks like well all know in two days...

erm, hello, all i said was that i found the statement that servers down awaiting nick to return from his trip. No need to blow a fuse.
One other thing though, ever thought that that message bout 46 has been written before nick went away, cos from what i remember nick is the one that hosts the game. Maybe it ment that servers down and will be up AND updated when nick gets back. Who knows m8, if the servers being hosted now, we could all be playing soon, and id be happy that u where right. congradulations. but theres no need to get stressed.

after i have entered in my key and password and pressed next i get the error msg
"BYOND HUB: connection failed.
Your network connection is not working or the hub server is down.
You will not be able to log in over the network at this time"

right, ibe had this problem before on another machine, firstly, do u use norton? like , nortan antivirus by any chance? and can u just try to connect right now, i know it wont work but just check if norton does anything *edit just remmebered, it may not be norton, its any tipe of program that stops hackers, viruses etc, u got any of those runnin?

try disabling norton while u try to log in. just turn it off completely.

im afraid thats the only way to fix the problem. whenever u log in, your comp sends a signal out, but norton stops this signal cos it thinks its someone hacking/steeling information off of your machine. I had it on my brothers computer, where it came up with some sort of warning saying a program was operating out of its control, and should it be disabled forever, blocked or permitted. unless you can find in the options somewhere were it once again allows manual decisions of this type (because it looks like someones chosen desable permenently) then you cant connect to byond. unfortunatly, i cant remember how to do this, but i can look into it for u.

Yea i herd that the guy that hosts the server is gone so they cant re-boot the server so it can get back up again witch kinda sux :\
