Downloaded ESF. Cant install

Hey! i got a problem!

I downloaded ESG Beta 1.1 But then i double click on it it goes to the istallation wizard adn says: Checking for previously istalled components :

and then i it wont answer anymore

do i need to unpack it first or something like that or do i need to have a program like winzip? plz help

It just depends on the speed and size of the hard drive. If you have a small HD it will take less time.

I'm having the same problem except mine stops responding. So I'm having to exit the program but I'll try that let stand thing.

Yeah, it seems lke it stops responding even when you check the Task Manager it says "not responding" Just wait, some computers take longer than others. I'd wait 10 minutes, if it doesn't work after that, then maybe you do have a problem.

The installer searches for a file called "hl.exe" or "cstrike.exe" on your HDD
Navanax (Blade) didn't know how to make it faster ... but i'll be MUCH faster (no time to search) in next installer

I got it to work. Thx guys. All I had to do is let it sit for 5 minutes and it worked :]
