Don't have steam, but I have half life.

How might I go about getting ESF to work without having to use steam? I don't have a pay-pal or credit card so I can't buy it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you have the original CDKey just install steam and press "+Add A game" -> "Activate a product on Steam " -> Next -> I Agree - >Enter the Product code on the CD case your Half Life came with.

Oh, and ESF only works with Steam. (Steam being freeware)

Do note that. The CD-key will only work on legaly bought Half Life 1 games. Anything you download from a torrent or similar wont work.

Additionally once you register a CD-key you can not do so a second time. The CD-key will be bound to the account forever. So no other account can register the same CD-key.

If you're having trouble tho, contact steam support. They have a process for getting boxed version CD keys to work on steam.

You guys are right. Non steam is illegal from esf .
