The Feds and courts do not have the time to continusly bust and charge people, it takes alot longer then a a day or two to charge osmeone with this and go threw all the sueing, universal and everyone else doesn't have the time to do this repeatly for along time.

Its also legal to make a backup copy of anything in america as well. If you people are so afraid of getting busted for using kazaa go ahead and get direct connect. Also this shouldn't suprise you. The goverment has a super computer dedicated to going through every packet that crosses though modern internet looking at words and phrases that could implicate a things such as a threat on the president.
