chest model wip

i found a tutorial here in the forum. i cant find it anymore so... thanks to the guy who made the tutorial ;-)

i know it's not nice or anything... but it's my first thing EVER..
and there is a hole on the lower side of the chest ... but i didnt knew how to fix that so dont mind that

Hmm... well it looks intersting lol! It looks like it has a lil bit of backfacing as well and the polyflow is messed up also... but it is still good for your first model >:]

I think it was Ran-D's tutorial. It just looks like you messed up with the smoothing groups a little. Hard to tell from just one shot.

i did the same tutorial just for fun even though i know how to model. Anyway heres what i got

Thats not half bad. I remember my first chest. *shutters* I started from the pecks and worked out. He was like an inch thick and all deformed abs.

The gap between the pecks and abs might cause a few probs.

I have learned a lot from that tutorial.

I will try to continue with the back. I just still dont know where i should set the vertex...
Is there a tutorial for that?
Or are there someone over msn there wont to help me being a great modeller?

Well.. if you want some help make a thread >;O, itll be easier for u and me and everyone else ;O, anyway try doing the model over and over and then go onto something else , you WILL get better if YOU keep trying at it :O
