Interstellar Marines is an AAA, FPS, Sci-fi, action and adventure game with an original and unpredictable storyline featuring single and cooperative gameplay, with heavy focus on realism. Planned as a trilogy and targeted at a 17+ audience, the game is currently being developed for PC. In time it's aimed at the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

I don't really see the point of browser gaming for this game.

- You use extra resources to keep your browser open,
- You can't quickly play a match on a different PC because of the download time (which is the point of browser gaming),
- The graphics are too fancy for a standard PC (Yes, I know you can lower them, but it isn't really needed if you play at home on your gaming PC)

So yeah, why reinvent the wheel for this kind of game? Browser gaming works for games like Minecraft.

It's interesting, though I'm not sure why they chose to develop a browser based game. I don't know about you guys, but I hate playing games in a browser window.

You can go full screen.

But yeah, it's pretty resource heavy from what I tried(Extreme Quality, Fullscreen), I got pretty low FPS, kinda jerky gameplay.

But still, impressive regardless.

they're using unity that should answer it all :) they don't have to especially develop for the browser that feature just comes with the engine.
