Beta 2 Server Admins

thought that Beta was 56k friendly.
played on a 112kb (ISDN)
and no lag or anything in the Alpha version.
its pretty funny..
and you say that a DSL cant run it..
well if you have a fast connection then maybee you will be able to see no lag on that server.

Im in as a Admin if there's any space left.

it sure is! gotta love those 13 year old admins who think their gods and the only reason they have it is b/c their whole damn "clan" gave it to them....



those people ruin half life more than noobs and cheaters combined.....


and what im saying is i don't think dsl can host a real server....you can host bout 4-5 generally without lag....

but if you want a real server....i suggest better connection....

Funny...I can host a 14 player server on my DSL line just fine. It depends on what your uprate is.

uhh yeah I kinda get what you sayin with those little admins who ruin it, but who here (whose played cs) hasnt loved running around as a chicken? lol I loved that... anyways back to the point, IM a responsible admin you asses, i was in jk2, AAAAND Im almost 16 lol...(16 and still playing 13 yr old games... brain to lazy to compute) anyways yeah... I think you can host on a dsl line... maybe it depends a bit on teh servers speed? also geez guys.. if you make a game that only works for T1 lines, noones ever gonna get into the "good" servers cause theyll be big lineups anyways lol later guys hope you dont think Im dumb... wait... (flies buzz around head...drools)

broadband isnt that expensive it is about the amount of a cell phonebill or less
wouldnt it great if we all had good connection and a world of no lag

Acutually my grandfather has Broadband and a slow ass low ram computer and he hosted a 20/20 people server just fine though with beta 1 I think you may want to do 16 or 12 people. Just a suggestion!

Acutally I have upgraded dsl no capped modem or anything like that. I was thinking of hosting a 18 person server but I might just go back to 16 since all of you are so negative. Outbreak and USGogett hmmm send me a pm and I'll talk over admin rights with you rules ect...

be VERY specific with the screening of them....i swear...do NOT let anyone under 16 be an admin....


i have never known a good admin thats been under 16.....


even if hes ur best friend....they will ruin it for the rest of us.....

it happens over and over and over in practaclly every server i play on in any game (tfc, esf, dmz, cs, ns) etc.

nothing is bad about Admin mod, its just bad when u get a newbie admin thats all, most of the time its fine, i think its only really needed for hosting dedcatied servers thou.

why you ask?: b/c stupid clans give all their little 10 year old members admin and people are so power hungry that they go out and buy a server JUST so they can have admin and feel like they have power over other people




its b/c you get all these insecure "computer nerds" who never stand up to anyone or anything in real life (not saying all people who know how to use a computer is like that) so they have to have a server and make themselves feel big

I'm a few months away from being 16, and I am a Super Mod an admined my own DMZ server for a while. I kicked no one, because they all behaved. I would say I was a successful admin.

About hosting on DSL, I don't think that would go over well. Just stick to being a listenserver, or being there with a dedicated occasionally, may be less painful on ure connection

the fagmins ive mentioned usually have had to past expirience....




so...yea...i guess i wouldn't mind seeing you as an admin considering you're already a mod on this forum....and its not like u just pm someone and get that...u were hand picked from the bunch....
