Beam fire model lock

now then, its not like me to suggest anything with esf, but i thought that this could actually be useful to them.

righty, when you fire a beam, your model can still be controled, this messed up the beam because it twists with you, i dont remember anyone spinning around while firing a beam in the cartoons..

so what i suggest and advise is that when you fire a beam, the model "locks" into position, thus making it seem better on the eye, and less messy, also you could get some good front views of the model ^_^

just another useful reccomendation from your friendly BIG BOSS :smile:

mmMMmMmmMmMmmm! Me like! So basically, only the camera spins to follow the head of the beam.

thats right.. it would work, and keep sprite twisting to a minimum..yet look pretty funky ^_^

i like that idea a lot, i think maybe (if possible) the characters should move their hands whilst controlling the beam like in the show too (and i emphasise the words IF POSSIBLE!!!)

Been suggested (by me) - ergo I like it. The main problem now is that often you can't see where your beam is going.
