Armor me thread, ESF version

23 minutes later... I'm out of time but I managed to get this far. If any of you play a certain MMORPG you'll know what i was going for. I didn't have time to edit the base models proportions so it doesn't look all that great.

meh, forum rolled back and lost the last 7 or so posts (if not more),

i dont know if anyone else posted any new armors or the like, but i can post the one of mine that was lost, its uvmapped and the texture base is laid out, but i cannot texture metal for the life of me =/ so thats likely as far as it will go on my end.

since it has kind of an arctic look to it, (it is blue, silver and white after all)

i think you should add some white fur, (think polar bear) to the gauntlets and greaves, and bulk up the boots and gauntlets while your at it to match the enormous shoulder pads.

it gives him alot more character if you give him a theme,

i drew this up in like 2 minutes, its not good enough to use as a top down reference but it should emphasize where id go with it

anyways, i just had to bring this up

Nuttzy your robotic one is very very nice!
1 suggestion though, give him 1 normal robotic arm (right now you have 2 blast arms)... He would get a little like Megaman but would look cool.

i did originally want to do that, but i couldnt really figure out what sort of hand to make, without making him look extremely non-symmetrical, and not in the good way.

im not even gonna bother touching up the skin on it, i got it about as good as i can get it, and im not going to waste time potentially making it worse than it already is when i could be figuring out what im gonna make next =P

actually the more i look at the arms, i hate them, im in the process of redesigning them completely, hopefully for the better =)

the plan is to either have 2 more gun arms as is, (but completely redesigned)

or 2 arms w/ hands, and some sort of holstered weapon

i want him to look somewhat symmetrical =/


edit** guess i should say something to clipseh, he posted while i was typing, and eating =P

its interesting to say the least, i cant really tell what it is though

it does kinda look like you modelled a face on the front of the armor though, perhaps you could work that into the design
