I have Sailor before my name because Alea was known as "The Sailor Alea."

VB have you ever considered the the Japanese audience is subjected to material far more mature for its age than the US's? Ever seen an "Age 13 and Up" sticker on a hentai video that we resell in the US as NC-17? A show like Sailor Moon aimed at 12 year olds in Japan would meet a 12-16 year old audience here at the least. Your argument is flawed.


Edit-- I also have to agree that it is pure ignorance in stating that males would only look for the short skirted anime girls as a reason to watch the show. I have stated in seperate threads that I was moved by the story and the character development throughout the program. You are just trying to offend everybody aren't you?

if i wanted porn in my anime ill go watch lablue girl or something like that. its kinda stupid to watch a show just to see a skirt fly up now and then. although ive only ever seen sailormoon like twice i would assume there is little or no nudity in it. from the few episodes i did see, there was great character development as well as plot development. the only thing i didnt understand is why all the evil bosses are women and why all the heros are girls. and why most of the cronies are men. it makes me uneasy inside. lol

Ssheesh! I think I speak for every guy here when I say that that comment was ignorant as hell. Not every guy thinks with their pants. Plus, SailorMoon isn't really something to get erotic about, it's not like there are huge DD's bouncing around and crap. It isn't even Ecchi as far as my knowledge.

And one more thing, Having Sailor infront of your name DOES NOT MEAN your associating yourself with SailorMoon. It just means you have Sailor infront of your name. By your logic, Having a name like Sailor Brian or Sailor Trov would mean they are sailor scouts or are a part a SailorMoon.

now..that one little paragraph that i have picked out of that whole article disproves every arguement u have offered so far...and Optimus Prime even did the math for u...the reason y there isnt as much lung cancer caused by smoking in Japan is because THERE ARENT AS MANY PPL IN JAPAN...and if u had ever visited there like u say u have u would know that.

not to mention that its incredibly ignorant to -assume- that just because u see a few ppl smoke 8 packs a day (which seems really exagerated to begin with) doesnt mean that a population of millions upon millions of ppl do the same.

Well I stepped out of that thread a little to early it looks like. I went back and looked at vb's "sources". This last link with so called evidence is no more than this guy running his mouth about hit stupid beliefs and not wanting to believe fundamental science behind years and years of studies. VB you need to smarten up and open your mind up to new thinking. You refuse science but then you site it in the worst places and feel you've accomplished something by showing that someone is as dumb as you for believing that the food and drug administration are nazis. If I had known you would have continued in that thread the way you did I would have kept reading because there were some good laughs. You have not one good come back but you think you do. Ciggarettes cause cancer, nicotine is addictive, and there are years of study behind this not to mention the common sence of looking or listening to someone that has smoked there whole life. I found it especially funny when the guy tried to say that nicotine wasn't addictive because prison inmates were stupid enough to try to get high off of smoking other things...
