A couple of new ideas

1. Say your desperately low on ki, and you can't fly to another spot so you are forced to stay and charge, suddendly BAM a beam smacks you right in the ass and you die. Well one thing I would suggest (hopefully not suggested before), is the auto-evade. Since ESF is sort of an rpg, because you get stronger as your pl goes up. Why not have an auto-evade feature that automatically dodges a beam, based on the persons pl and yours. It would kick in anywhere a beam was near, so for eg.. when your swooping at someone and he shoots a beam at you. If his pl is lower than yours, your person does a dodge animation, make it a fancy flip, or a simple teleport safely out of the way of the beam (but the swoop still continues towards the opponent). But if the persons pl is considerably larger than yours, your going to have to dodge, swoop, teleport manually. But, the admin could manage the difference in auto-evade pl's to his liking. This could make people that hate beam spammers more happy, and forces beam spammers to beam less and get into some melee action.

2. Perhaps the ESF team could also implement a "Battle for the Planet" where it would like the mega bot, ultra bot thing. Its where you have a couple of really strong guys vs a bunch of people with low pl's. So in a server of 6, 2 people would be the strong guys vs the 4 low power levels. There could also be a time rotation so everybody gets a chance to be bad and good guy. If implemented, could really take advantage if the melee does allow 2 vs 1, because then even though the strong guy is fighting off 2 people hes strong enough to hold them off on their own. This could also promote clan play.

3. Scouters, really annoying when you have to move your mouse over a swooping opponent to get a read on his pl. So, I'm not sure of such thing is implemented but perhaps if you press page up and page down, it would cycle through all enemy oppoents, and home and End to scroll through available allies.

mmm i dont like the auto dodge idea, would take the fight out of the players hands, dodging melee and energy attacks is a big part of esf/dbz and makes it much more enjoyable to do it manually. it could end up meaning whoever has the most pl will win rather than who has the most skill.
if u get to extremely low Ki and ur in a possition where u r exposed to a beam than that is ur own fault and u should expect to be hit by a beam.

Hmmm.... I think you're right about that. It would just make it more unfair to the guy with lower pl except now the guy with higher pl would be almost invincible.

1.no...esf is almost nothing like an rpg in the first place and auto dodge would just make the strong people even stronger...?and hten even if u did auto-dodge people could still right-click and kill u since it would explode right next to u

2.have 2 ppl with high pls go on evil and have ppl who have just joined be on good! there ya go a battle for the planet!!...but really .. rpg has been suggested many times(omg look theres a search option!!!...who knew?)

3.pointless....k imagine u have an enemy swooping at u....u want to see his pl? ur about to get jumped and ur wondering what his pl is....ok thats your first mistake...but if u just wanted to see a guys pl just set it to the pl section of the scouter and aim it at them....its not that hard and even if its just for a second u still have enough time to see their pl...

thats all...basically #1-3= no

erm ... (as said before) would be kinda unfair for players who just joined a server ... or newbies (who start with beams) ... wait for the B1.2 swooping and you'll be pretty happy

2. thousand and one .... thousand and two ... thousand and three ... wow .. it's often suggested before ...
solution: try the new bot's ... add a super bot (or ultra or mega (dunno)) then fight this bot with a few guys

3. no ... it has a reason to target someone with the scouter ... you just have to see him once, the you see his stats for 2 secons ... that's not that difficult ...
why do you want to target anyone, who's swooping ???
why do you want to see anyones stats ... the stats are useless ... PL ... wow ... you see how easy, he'll be dead ... but will it help you ??? the enemies char ... you ccan see it mostly without scouter ... the name ... because it's important to know who you're killing

Hey, are you guys still gonna put in the charged swoop or are you gonna put it in as like an optional thing for more damage or what? Thanks.

stay ontopic ... browse the forum and you should be able to see that it's already changed (so no charged swoop)
