3dsm

uhm i just imported a obj file into 3dsm and the model (my link) got into one Object there, but i use 2 maps on it, how can i fix it that both maps can be used on the model withouth switching?? example: thanks in advance

ok dudes.... i got one tut. Here and i dont understand the first step! If somebody understand this tut... can this somebody do pics and explain it? I just dont get it! I really need it...i got a goku skin wich need such a celshade. Please :( (Oh my god... my n00b years are back ) :(

This is my first real 3dsm model, its really high poly, and has a lot of waisted polys.. but I think its good for a first. Its a night elf archer..

I finally learned how to use max a bit better, and came up with this as my first scene, check it out: Textures where not made by me, but my next scenes will have self made textures, i jsut didnt have the time to make my own for this one.

I really wanna know, i was searching on google and i found nothing. Please help me, i know you can do it but i dont know how.

well, this is my first serious 3dsm model i ever made, and i give some credit to ben mathis for making the wonderfull tutorial that helped, and learned me alot. here are the renders: dont really need crits. i just wanted to show this to yah. comments are welcome dough:)

well, i was getting bored of ms3d, and metrotek assured me that 3d studio max was the way to go, (providing you learn to navigate thorough the thousands upon thousands of buttons), i was wanting to model on most the details for my frieza, newest picture here i wanted to model the arms and legs...

ook i have 7 copies of 3dsm on my computer...i would REALY appreciate it if someone could send it to me in a zip file on aim or msn or email it..lol thnx in advance :)

now im not asking for a tut, so this should not be breaking any rules, correct me if im wrong, i think my 3dsm may be fudged up i have been skinmapping since i began in milkshape and paint in tandem, and i always wind up with a perfectly usable skinmap, but they always wind up with the same...

OK...I want to import a model w/ skin into 3DSM....lets say...the Marine from NS as an example. One problem: When I import the file (.3DS file) it only shows the smooth shaded version. When I go to the "Edit Materials" option...and choose the 'Marine' skin, it STILL doesn't work. Does...
