ESF will live a long long time...

Even thought I hear that after finishing ESF 1.3 the team will quit ESF
Well even if that happens there won't be any ESF 1.4
But should we care so much?
You know this will live long long
1. The game is most certainly going to be the best for PC.
2. Once the game is out thousands of addons will start appearing for this game
I'm sure that addons like ECX will appear right away
Since this is far better than ESF 1.2.3 it will live far far more time
In other words
This team will make the best game (dragonball game )for PC
And other fans will start completing it with addons
I'm just sure
VERY SURE this won't die as soon as people think
once this is released and we get bored of playing it
There will be enough addons to download and satisfy us right away!
I'd say THANKS FOR THE FOREVER DRAGONBALL GAME!

You can't know if Metamod works with ESF 1.3. Even if it does, there should be many restrictions of its usage. That's why you can't tell if any of the upcoming addons will be lucky to do something about it.
Addon makers can say whatever they want. Like "DBT will be the best addon for ESF 1.3", etc. but there's a big chance that it might end by a failure.

This is the exact reason we decided to wait till its a full release to even attempt to try something with it.

I personally dont see much skill in them... To me... They are all show with models and sprites and thats it...

I mean anyone can do that and I proved it.

As for addons. Highly doubtfull theyll produce anything to good. The sear amount of hacking the coders did to Half Life to get ESF the way it is now will make it worse than the ninth cyrcle of hell for anyone trying to modify it.

I'm just playing devils advocate here, but I remember PCJoe saying that mods such as EVM would no longer be possible with 1.2. 1.2 comes out and we still got mods like ECX.

Again, I'm simply playing devils advocate here. I realize that the changes going into 1.3 will be a lot greater then those from 1.2.

I was in DBT team once and I can say that they can do sprites, models and other stuff. But I highly doubt if they are able to do anything good with the code. Especially with ESF 1.3's code. So I'll repeat, dragonball96, don't be so sure about addons part.
