4. under performance, settings
5. advanced tab
6. under virtual memory, change
7. click custom size

i changed it to 2000 mb to 2048 mb.. not sure if it'll help you out. >_< but it's worth a try

Heh, its a suprise that the NEWEST pc's are getting problems. While my old 1ghz pc can simple play the map with no problems at all.

It's very odd that this map causes such severe problems for some people and none for others.

Even after uninstalling and reinstalling ESF, the map won't work. I also still cannot play ANY other map.

My ESF 1.1 does work though. =/

I got the same problem with the "your steam is in use on another location" while i can simple join servers. I believe i heard on the official Steam forums that its a bug in the lastest update of steam.

If I set sv_lan 1, then I can create a server like normal.

However, what I really want to know is why this map suddenly causes this problem.

Another thing I find odd is that so many people have this problem, both here and in the thread you linked us to. So it can't be just the map. It seems to be a Steam problem, but like I said, I wonder why, after installing this map, the problem so suddenly pops up.

I'll give this map a shot now. :3

The map is great, trust me on that. I played it myself for 30min or so, since barely any players had the map. Thats why i randomly change the map on a few servers on the Zsword server so people would download it. But i'm rather suprised that people download it from the server, and quit the server / game because they have to wait.

That's funny. Often when I see a server running a map I don't have, I'll join it just because I want the map. I'd leave the computer on for an hour if it needs that to download the map.

YEah me too, btu I hate it when you're busy downloading then the server shuts down, that's so irritating! It's 99% then it goes out, so irritating......
But anyways, why doesn't the map work if 24 bit textures is on?

I guess the map is not supportable in 24 bit textures.

I am curious if anyone can confirm this for me. Whenever i set the map on Esf-w or HL2files server, i get *and all the people* get random lag spikes. I am curious if you get it as well when hosting a server with the map.

Well teamplay.de servers have been laging ocaisonaly for tha past fiew weeks.

Also i uploaded it to the S2k server. But it seems that Yugi cant join it ^^ other people could join it though.

I'll look at the teamplay servers today to see whats wrong with it. Or it could be a teamplay problem with their servers i'm not really sure about it. But i'll have a look today or in a few days, i'm not sure because i won't be at home today or tomorrow so i doubt i have the FTP information at my dads house.

Try setting sv_lan "1" and turn off your 24-bit textures.
