Yu-Gi-Oh Card game.

I didnt put this in "Video Games" section because this isnt a video game, but a card game.

I just got into the anime and bought a starter deck so i could learn to play. Its a pretty complex game when reading it. Advance play lost me big time...

But anyway im just wondering if anyone else plays the card game(not the video game). Or if you were interested in it or anything.

I was real big into it last year and in late 2003. I used to duel anyone that had a deck, and also entered in a couple of tourny's. Never won a tourny, but was usually one of the few high ranked contestants. I almost won a tourny if I could have drawn my last card, for it was a part of Exodia, and one of the rules were if you found a piece you were the winner. But alas I had been defeated......

Its Magic: the Gathering with 3 zero's at the end of all the attack/def stats. Minus its missing the awesomeness of magic. The anime blows aswell but thats mostly since its dutch dubbed here >_< It might be kinda cool if its jap/english, i wouldnt know. Still my pre judgement goos out of it sucking since its a blatant rip off from the magic card games.

yugioh was slightly different. I got into yugioh about 2 years ago...I did very well in tournaments and placed high in the madison square garden tournament. I got over the game when newer packs came out and they kept changing the rules. I sold most of my cards...i still have a few on ebay but i made roughly 3 grand in cards alone. So i thought of it as a good expense

Quoted for great accuracy on Yugioh. The entire series was an attempt to cash in on the card game interest that was left behind from the treachery that was Pokemon. And they mostly took the rules from Magic.
So no, I do not play the card game, nor am I interested in it.

I used to play Magic heh....still got so many good cards, just gathering (harr harr) dust....waste of time and money now that I look back. And I have the yugioh game for gba but I never liked it...

Ive Played Magic,DBZTCG,StarwarsTCG,PokemonTCG, heck even poker. But i have never liked none of them as much as i like Yugioh. Although i have no one to play with i used to play with my brother. I just love the way there are Unbalanced cards around. it gets you in a feeling that your gonna lose. it really gets you thinking. most of the time i come up with a combo that will get me out of that sticky situation.

I like Yugioh TCG best. Best card game ive ever played. Yugioh is Simple to understand yet complex at the same time. Unlike some games that i wont metion that are too unessesarily complex.
