Your Super Power

We'll be seeing our share of super hero movies this year. Both the comic books and movies play on the "what if someone could do this" wonder humans have.

Now for a never-before seen, totally original question: ff you had a super power, what would it be?

While flight looks awesome, I love me some super speed. Being able to race across the countryside, or dash up a building. The world is my jungle gym and amusement park ride. Kick ass if you ask me.

Super reflexes come close though. I wouldn't mind being able to dodge a hail of bullets.

Oh, I included an "other" option for the sake of openness, but I prefer if people chose from the main ones for the sake of comparison

This is difficult, it's a tie between

-Flight
-Super Speed
-Telekinesis
-The beams one.

One thing wrong with your logic, Chakra. If you had super speed, you'd also need super reflexes, else you would be running so fast your mind wouldn't be able to keep up with it and you'd probably slam into something.

I'd probably go for super reflexes. You'd never be able to die. It'd beat super reflexes because I'd be able to drive a sports car down extremely fast and be able to handle every situation, preventing crashes and such.

Flight would be pretty bad ass. I'm a lover of heights so this is definitely right next to super reflexes, as I'd love to fly up 10,000 feet, and then 'deactivating' and just free falling, then quickly flying before I hit the ground.

Although, with flight only theres nothing much you can do with a flight-biased power.

In short:

If there were super villains and I were to fight crime, I'd go for super reflex.

For every day normal use, just the fact I have 'powers' and there are no super villains, I'd go for flight.

Super Strength - Able to leap hundreds of miles in a single bound, resistance to powerful attacks and weapons that would have killed a normal person, able to cause craters in the Earth from a single punch, etcetera.

Super intelligence. Strength and speed are overrated in comparison to the ability to plan things out with set up clever traps and react quickly to sudden changes in your situation.

Time Freezing like in "Charmed" (yea that power is still awesome). I used to imagine myself freezing time when teacher asks me a question so I can just see the answer in book, unfreeze the time and say the correct answer :X

I'm going to go with the former.

Oh, you edited it with a clever quip! Why would freezing time before a bullet hits my skull be a waste? Because I'm the Supreme God Emperor. If a bullet could kill me, I'd be Lukyas, The Rancid, not Zeonix, Supreme God Emperor of what is, what was, and what is to come. But it can't, so I'm not.

Just for the sake of staying on topic, if I had to choose from the powers listed, I'd go for super strength. But only if it was like the Hulk's super strength, rather than say, Juggernaut's strength. Why? The Hulk is so incredibly powerful, that, while being a hulking mass and extremely powerful, he's also extremely fast. Juggernaut? Not so much. The Hulk is also capable of leaping quite far, allowing him to cover incredible distances in a short period of time. The Juggernaut jogs. Not quite as cool.

Think about it. With highly controlled telekinesis, you can basically gain other powers:

Telekinetically stop your body from emitting photons (light). [Invisibility]

Telekinetically increase or decrease the movement of subatomic matter [Temperature control. "Fire" or "Ice" blasts]

Telekinetically brush aside matter in solid objects from your path [Phasing]

Telekinetically move yourself through the air [Flight]

Depending on your mental strength, preciseness, endurance, etc--telekinesis is a very useful ability that can let you do many more things.
