Sorry to say this Zeo, but flight Simulator has a little cheat built in to it. You can position your plane at any height with the touch of a button. Not to mention yes you can fly those planes with nothing more than a joystick and knowing where the throttle controls are. It will not be pretty, but youll get off the ground.

Other than that i agree with everything you said

Technically its time compression. Think of it as an autopilot that goes "Ill wake you up when there is something you need to know" XD
