Does anyone knows a good Windows Vista Theme Pack for Windows XP that is safe, stable and easy removable when needed? I may dislike Windows Vista itself, but I do like the new looks. That's why I'd like to have the same for Windows XP, but I don't want it to slow down my pc. (or at least not much). I already tried a few honestly, and some doesn't even work properly when installed. give me a list, and please do tell me which one is the best.

What your asking for isn't impossible, the requirments are though.
XP can be quite *****y with themes, especially graphics intensive themes.

Besides a vista theme clone is NEVER perfect, and that's going to annoy you pretty damn soon ;)
trust me

Why would you want the vista theme when you can have this though:

But yeah seriously, there are no exact copies of the theme, and yeah it drove me nuts trying to get it just right.

You could always buy Vista, it's not that bad *prepares Vista errors*.

No really, it's great. What XP failed at, Vista has succeeded. Yet, I still can't play Quake 1.

I can easily download Vista, but I rather stick with XP.

I use a program called Windowblinds. It allows me to reskin my entire GUI. It's pretty nifty, and it doesn't drain your resources. I can still play even Supreme Commander without any noticeable performance loss. There are thousands of free Windowblind skins available. I get most of mine off wincustomize.com

Try running the installer in compatibality mode too ;)
Done that, no effect. Still installed wrongly, and it only changed some things like the "my computer" icons, etc.

I used StyleXP before, yes. But I rather want something that installs all the Vista stuff right away.

:p Or, you could actually start using Vista.

From experience I can say that it's not as bad as people make it out to be.

You just need a pretty up-to-date system in order to run it smoothly.

My system is fine, and I already used Vista before. It turned down my stuff pretty badly (FPS ingame).
