Yeah, I can see how a lack of color and refined edges is far superior artistry.


Edit: If you're stopping an episode because you're upset with how they animated the episode, then you're obviously concentrating too hard on what doesn't actually matter--individual animation, and what does matter--how they're portraying the story you claim to think is exceptional, along with the fantastic musical score and wonderful voiceacting.

I was quite pissed myself when he died, I thought he was a badass, something was wrong with him, the coughing wasn't right.. maybe thats why he didn't put up a fight. Most likely explained more in the manga.
