Come on! Someone come back and say "Budokai, because Naruto sucks!" We can make 2 more whole pages on this thread alone! No evidence or reasoning!

Come on buddy. If you like one series over the other at least explain why. Just saying something 'sucks' makes you look like an idiot.

-ps- I don't really see how anyone could like DBZ over Naruto. I haven't seen Naruto yet but what could DBZ possibley have over it? A deep story?

As stated before naruto, because every charectar has their own unique special moves, and no 2 charectars moves look the same in the fmv sequence (except hinada and neji but thats excusable since their in teh same group of people and she didnt do much of her own moves)

all of you bashing budokai 3... did you even care to go see the new video releaed? im pretty sure it eliminates all of your complaints. theres a thread about it around here, if not just check gamepro.com. anywho that naruto game looks alright, if i had to choose which game to get though ill get budokai... simply because i liked b2, and b3 looks 100x times better. although the naruto game looks as if its got better graphics... but probably because they made their characters darker.

well firstly naruto does have better graphics plain and simple but also it has MUCH better gameplay. you can do so much in that game, it has small specials and then the big fmv ones. the fmv ones are pretty hard to get on human players so you have to revert to skill in teh fighting part of the game. also specials dont take away like 50% of your health as in budokai games i believe theres one or two moves that take away like 1 or 2 bars of health....also naruto takes a while for a match as in budokai its not that long and all anyone tries to get in the game is a special.......and for those bashing the naruto game (if any) and you never have played it......my suggestion is just to shut up, play it some how and then make your final judgement....you shouldnt judge a game until after you play it. budokai 3 i admit looks better then budokai 2 but if they did the same thing and everyones moves are the same thing with a different name then my opinion will change definitely.....the new teleporting move gogeta did looks pretty sweet though. but im not gonna totally judge the game until i play it....

goten - you dont know 100% the gameplay is better on the naruto game since you havent played it yet, atleast i dont think so. ill admit it has that rpg thing going on but now budokai has that new story mode and that new build up mode... im not saying its a good mode since i obviously havent played it yet but it does have potential. longer fights arent always good, and now the budokai game has even faster paced fighting and some new combo utility. oh, and considering that in budokai you got atleast 3 life bars to start with, and that a big special in budokai is a friggin huge energy wave, i think its realistic it takes that much life away. although i will give it to you that its way to easy to pull off those 'specials.'

I have played the naruto game (the first one) in fact i own it lol its way better then budokai 2 in every aspect. the huge waves and energy bar thing might be realistic but it just doesnt make the fight that good when you can get someone's like half way down but lose like all your ki....its just kinda pointless in some aspects but w/e. since from what i can tell narultimate hero 2's gameplay looks the same with some new stuff added theres no way that game can be disappointing as with budokai 3....im not saying its going to be horrible it does look good but i mean if they do like the last 2 games and make the same move and rename it for everyone.......that brings the game down to like a 5/10 for me automaticly, everyone should have their own uniqe moves not the same as everyone else....

okay, honestly, that HUD for b3 looks horrible... and the game doesnt look that good either in those screens, but thats probably because its just photos of the game. yet, my hopes are still moderatly high. even if b3 isnt gonna be all that, imo it will still be fun to play. i actually also think the naruto game will be alright, but i havent played the 1st one, so i dont know about that... but it looks nifty and a lot of people like it, so it cant be too bad. ya know what, lets agree that both games will have their pros and cons, get both of games, and live happily ever after...

Well, i have great news, The Rare Dragonball GT Final Bout is coming to USA this year without any changes just to bring in some more cash flow for atari and dimps like they did with Ultimate Battle. And yet there's still no word on Dbz Legends.

Anyway, my budokai 3 hype just keeps dying down, Atari just released a so called " new trailer " and it still looks like the same game. In fact the other trailer looked abit better than this IMO but this game just dosent seem like it will live up to its evolution expectations. Anyways heres the new trailer.

Hell go on ebay, there selling the english version for way too high so at the same time to keep people from getting cheated, im actually glad there releasing it here even though i wont buy it at all.

Yo pan, that video was actually out for a while... I remember seeing it when I was still at the states, but all atari added to it is music and their logo at the beginning. Im pretty sure its some E3 video. But I am sure it was out for a while now. And dont let your B3 hype die down... keep busy till it comes out :]

Well I guess my friend Salmon can finally get the game for less than 20 dollars at a local WallMart now....Basiclly Atari is just trying to destroy the fun in having something expensive that you can show off to others...But now!Youll be able to buy a game that made only 1000 copies in North America for less than 50 dollars.... :S :S :S :S :S
