It's the game that you like that you want the console for right?

So look up some game reviews, look at what games interest you, and buy what best suits your taste. Not everyone has the same tastes in consoles so you have to decide which ones give the most bang for your buck.

yes its the games that sell the consoles, not vice versa.

xbox Live is nice . so i'd definatly go for xbox. also if you're a crit on graphics...dont take a ps2.. I for example hate the xbox graphics already, I think it's quite ugly. Imagine what I do when looking at PS2 graphics, i'd really throw up.

You still gotta realize that for a machine built with old technology (it came out in 1999\2000) that its a very capable machine e.g. Gran Turismo 3 and I dare anyone to say that the graphics in that or the upcoming Gran Turismo 4 are bad.
