Where shall i set vertex and faces?

Well... I just finished the modelling tutorial some days ago, and i try start at the back.
But something i dont get...
Where shall i set vertex?
And how shall i make faces?

I know how to.. but i just wanna know how you know where you shall sit it.

Hope you can explain it.

trial and error, just start plugging around points and faces, you can always go backa nd fix it up, or redo it :).

Yep... thats what im trying to do right now.. But it isnt allways it looks right.

Just wanna know if there is some kind of special way.

well to me not really, i just put them horizontal to where my torso left off (in line with other vertices) in the middle then i adjust them in the left viewport. Thers really no special way of doing it. I like getting the basic shape then when the rest of my models done go back and do it, but its really up 2 u...like eclipse said, trial and error!

there is once you have done it for a while, but it's not something you can just tell a person, they have to tweak and find it out for themselves

If your using ms3d..... Try reading the stickies for placing the vertex's.

On the faces Click 'Face' and then select 3 vertexes and then it should make a face.
