Where can i get the 1.2 beta patch?

How could it not be out yet it says in the News page that the first update for 1.2 is out now but theres no download for it and if there isnt one then how can i change the game mode wen i host games?

The patch is not out yet, nor does it say anywhere on the main page that the patch has been released yet.

As for gamemodes, go into your game.cfg file in your ESF directory (assuming STEAM), and find the "mp_gamemode" line. Depending on your gamemode, change the number accordingly. 0 is freefighting, 1 is team mode, and 2 is CTDB (not supported by the new maps)

Do you want beta 1.2 or the patch for beta 1.2 which is called 1.2.1. You can get 1.2 here http://www.esforces.com/files.php (you needed to click on that little button called files... took me 2 seconds)

The 1.2.1 patch is not out yet and should be out sometime next week.

well... the news are 7 days old... so why it's not out yet ? it should be !

just think of it this way: a delay means that they can get rid of more bugs and make the game "better". just be patient.

Heh, sorry about the delays. The patch is "ready", we just need to compile it. Some of the team members are pretty busy with finals (including myself), so we're having some troubles putting together the package...
Also beta 1.1 to beta 1.2 was a year and change.

I think this is where his confusion comes from. He probably think this meant the patch was released. Either that or he just read the title "ESF 1.2 Patch" or whatever.
