What program to unwrap?

I'm using this tutorial to try and learn how to skin. It says i need Unwrap 3d so i downloaded it. But Unwrap 3d says it doens't support ms3d models so what program should i use.

dummy,...you need to export you ms3d mesh to something it can open...>_>

lithunwrap 3d 1.3 is the only version wich support ms3d and is like unwrap but its only a lower version
