I don't really see how you could ballance this attack without rebuilding it from the ground up. Why does Vegeta need an attack that paralyzes his opponents? Unless this thing costs two thirds of your ki bar after you've gone SSj2 it wouldn't make a lot of sense to me. It should be an all or nothing kind of thing.

And I doubt it that people will just fly right into this attack. Alot of people are melee dudes anyways, you will just standing there charging that stupid attack while someone melee's you or fires a beam in your face.

If you want the attacks to be useful, they must be similiar like Solar flare or Burning attack. They must be quickly charged and if it is a cheap attack, it must take alot of Ki.

No? Then you can declare it a non-used or overused attack.

You would be amazed at the number of people who have ended up flying straight into a destructo disc while I've played as Krillin.

I'd say it should take a third of V.'s ki when he uses it. What would be the use? Sometimes you need to catch a break to recharge your ki. Maybe you just want to throw his timing off. Maybe you can finish him off with a minimun generic beam. Maybe you've seen someone trying to sneak up on you, and you want to give them a nice surprise...

Either they hit you with melee and everybody knows that if you charge something, it will be fired if you get hit.

Skilled players that has barely sharp eyes can easily dodge these obvious attacks, most n00bs just flies at you like a Irish man that had too many beer.

Trunks need the attack because he's weak as ****!

BTW: Who cares if Future Trunks can't do the attack, this game isn't completely based on the show.

No, because it doesn't work like that.

If I play as Krillin, and only use destructo discs, then I will get thrashed. Sure, I'll still catch a fair few (no matter how "skilled" one might be, you can't keep an eye on five other players scattered across the map), but people will catch on and adapt.

If I play as Freiza or Piccolo and use the lasers, the same applies. Overuse makes me predictable and, therefore, weak.

However, if I mix my strategies (melee and, when they think they can reach me in time, a DD in the face, for example), I will rack up a much higher score.

It won't be kame spam, sure. It will require skill - the same as DD, Burning Attack or Solar Flare. That doesn't mean it's a bad idea.

Besides, they're going to implement a body part attack for Buu at some stage. Energy rings would work in a similar vein.

it think it sux when you are outta control, you want it to be a test to see whos the best (dat rijmt)
and i think you should always have the ability to fully react on what attacks you and not answer everything with a lame powerstruiggle, keep the pace a bit in the game without them

Well, they're going to put in Buu's body part...I would have thought that was even harder than the energy rings.

This is what we call laziness. Instead of thinking of other ways to solve problems we just go, "hell lets just do this eventhough it doesnt make any sense".

With this logic every player should have a kamehame. Why not? That would make it completely balanced.

Trunks wouldn't suck if the team actually coded his attacks properly. Thats seriously the only reason he sux. If Burning Attack was a ball and Finishing Buster a beam he'd have a great blinding attack and a good psing beam when SSJ.

This wouldnt be hard to code in at all. Just make it freeze the victim and at the sametime have a block struggle with it.

i think its a cool idea and as long as its balanced it is great. i think that the hold should have a timelimit, maby nomore than 10 secs. i think it should be a charge up attack but only a very quick one (like trunks) the victim should also do the powerstruggle thing, so he has a chance to brake free depending on his powerlevel. well thats my idea anyways.
