Transformation Attacking

I never kill anyone while they are transforming (unless they have the audacity to do it right in front of my face). What I do is shoot little pissy beams at them till they stop and fight. If they end up transforming anyway, then at least I'll have the upper-hand in teams of health.

And letting someone tranform isn't honor, it's arrogance. You can even relate that to the show. When Goku let Frieza reach his maximum, that was not honor, it was arrogance (made apparent by what he said to King Kaio). It's only honor when you have a certain respect or understanding with your opponet (a duel). However, when you let an enemy transform before your eyes, the only thing stopping you from attacking him is your own pride.

Goku let frieza reach his max because thats what goku lives for. There is a sence of honor among people in the esf community. You don't have to have it but you shouldn't tell people that it doesn't exist.

You're taking my attitude all wrong, i understand that people will do it, and whatever, i'll either make them stop by beating them to the ground, or i won't and they'll keep on doing it. It doesn't ruin the game, it makes it less fun.

There's a big difference between honor and arrogance, If you think goku is arrogant, then you obviously don't know goku. Goku isn't arrogant he is honorable, he respected freiza as a fighter, and let him show his true potential. Vegeta is more arrogant than anyone else.

Sonic, Honor exists in games, it doesn't depend on how it affects people. It doesn't matter if someone lives or not, that has nothing to do with it. Honor is all about respect, If i respect a player enough to transform in front of me, then im showing him/her some honor. Yes it exists in video games, it exists in everything, regardless how small it may seem of a gesture, letting someone transform is honorable.

Arrogance is overbearing pride. And yes, normally you would pin that word on Vegeta, but in this case Goku was arrogant. He let Frieza reach his max so that "when he beat him", Frieza would have no doubt Goku was stronger. That's pride.

However, Goku did do something honorable in that fight, but that was when he gave Frieza that little bit of heath. (but that could be considered more stupid than anything)

I stand corrected, you're right, but there was respect for him as a fighter. It was goku's biggest challenge yet. But yes, he was a bit arrogant i guess.

You cant say that people that let people transform are arrogant, you would have to know the reason why they let them. For example, i couldn't care less if they beat me or not afterwards, i allow them to transform to be curtious. The rest of the reasons why, have already been brought up.

I don't think it's typical arrogance, it's more of the Saiya-jin thirst for challenge.

Afterall, Goku allowed him to reach his maximum, all the while continually saying he didn't know if he could beat him.

He said he didn't know if he could win, but wanted the greatest challenge, and for Furiza to know that he couldn't have done any better then he did at his maximum strength.

It wasn't arrogance like Vejita with Cell. Vejita was confident he could beat Cell at his maximum transformation. Goku never guaranteed victory or boasted about his ability, so I don't think it was 'traditional' arrogance.
