I just wanna add, that when the Bible says to accept christ.

I dont think it simply means accept the person* thats popularly talked about. I believe it means accept his way of being.

anywho, ill have to read it completely and draw my own conclusions, even tho i hate reading.. looooooong boooooks

@Davidskiwan

The truth to me, is God, and the....
And I dont think it was him who "defined" those rules, it was science. Yet, I think they're open and I think if you have any dif answers to any of those questions I'de like to hear them.

then dont.

i dont get why you really care so much about this. you really think that if there is a god he wants you to waste your life researching and praying too him?

my opinion is that, while its interesting, it doesnt really matter. i like hearing about scientific discoveries but i never get off my ass and waste time trying to be the one discovering them.

jinx, get out of the house, go make some new friends, get a job, maybe a girlfriend, and stop thinking about this crap. if there is really a god you will find out in the end anyway, so enjoy your short life while you have it.

He said in the very first question that infinity depends on a start, when humans cannot even grasp the concept of infinity themselves. All he is doing is pushing his presumptions on you.

"we can conclude that time started a finite amount of time ago"

I was a little off, I meant he said that infinity has some kind of lateral thinking behind it, which nobody can say since they don't understand how infinity works there is no way of assuming when and beginning middle and end would come, maybe they all exist at once? It's not something we can answer.

"has matter always existed? and I'd say no it hasn't"
as he continues to drivel on with his idea you notice that it's all heavily dependant on the conclusions he himself has come to.

"We have to say it was immensely powerful"
Again a presumption, I'm yet to come across a solid fact in his entire explanation.

"some people don't wanna believe in god because that makes them accountable to their creator"
I believe in god/some kind of creator, but not his god/creator, I believe a deity would be all knowing and all understanding, so there's nothing for me to feel afraid to account for.

The guy has the answer before he's asked the question, therefore all he does is give leading questions. Watch it again.

Hmm, well.. your not born an adult in our timeline,.. but more importantly I dont think he was assuming @ all "when the beginning, middle or end was".

His words

"Could there have been an infinite amount of time before right now? No there couldn't have been because we never wouldve reached this moment in time. So we can conclude that time started a *finite* amount of time ago... and before that there was no time."

has matter always existed? and I'd say no it hasn't"

What conclusions dont you agree with, that he's come to ?

First of, what's with some people and their absolute "truth"? I have yet to find a sane person/scientist claiming to know the truth.

And any "proofs" of God based on infinity are severely flawed. I'd go as far to say there is nothing infinite in this universe,
apparent infinity is caused by our flawed perception. If our universe really has more than 3 dimensions (as it seems to have)
than any infinity can be explained by our mere 3 dimensional perception.

A simple example: to a 2 dimensional being the surface of a sphere will seem infinite.

No you're not born as an adult in our timeline, but if you're going to start questioning concepts of infinity, you cannot say that time is a measure of infinity. Therefore you cannot answer with tenses since it is infinite, the past isnt before infinity, and the future isn't after infinity, they are all infinite.

His words

"Could there have been an infinite amount of time before right now? No there couldn't have been because we never wouldve reached this moment in time. So we can conclude that time started a *finite* amount of time ago... and before that there was no time."
What an arrogant presumption.

As for what I don't agree with, All of it. If you're gullible enough to believe in the completely flawed scientific explanation which is disguise for preaching from a teenager who thinks his lateral thinking cannot be questioned when discussing the existence of god, I feel sorry for you.

What do you think about this?
Wow.

Ratings are disabled, and there is not a single dissenting comment, even though at the end of the video he encourages discussion.

Which either means;
a) Everyone agrees with this guy or;
b) He is actively going in and deleting any dissenting comments because he knows his theory is BS, and the only ones who believe him are the ones who already believe in God, and turn around and go "oh well, that ****ing seals the deal then."

-edit-
Shaky cam is shaky.

HuH? From my thinking you require an infinite to have a finite. Time is a measurement of what is finite, and because time follows things from point A to point B there is a beginning middle and end all within a finite path. The infinite is what makes up the path and all that surrounds it.. Technically its all infinite but for the sake of the explanation of time ( point a to point b aka a finite existance ) he would be right imo.

He's saying, if I start at point A and travel the distance of infinite will I ever reach a point B the next existance in sequence after that.

He answers "no", and imo he's right because you'd still be at point A until you reach/connect to a point b.

I still dont see why you see it as arrogant.

He does video discussion through video responses from what I'm seeing. Yet, this doesn't deal anything related to his logic..

As stated before, we're only human and we don't know the true meaning of infinite. Why couldn't we exist in an infinite time frame? Why couldn't we just be a chapter in that infinite space? If time is infinite then something has to occur during it doesn't it? Why couldn't that be us? Perhaps time is infinite. Perhaps there is an infinite amount of time before we existed and there will be after we exist. It's impossible to debate that question because we as a species do not even have the ability to even imagine it.

I'm not saying time is infinite tho.. I'm saying time is "the sequence from point a to point b", which is a path made up from the infinite.

-But this is my belief

Those vids were seriously just retarded. You need to learn to do something else with your free time Jinx, instead of looking at delirant old men , and 16-year old bums who pretend to had found the truth about life when they didn't even know what color their sperm has.

Seriously, believe in who you want to believe , there is no need to try to explain to us something when is clear you won't change anyone's beliefs.

I see it as arrogant because the guy thinks he can decide what infinity is despite the fact that the greatest minds and philosophers throughout time cannot come to a true theory of what infinity is.

If you want me to ruin his argument that time is finite then I shall do so using Zeno of Elea's paradox of the race between Achilles and the tortoise. (in which he proved that logically, he could not beat the tortoise if the tortoise started the race first)

"Could there have been an infinite amount of time before right now? No there couldn't have been because we never wouldve reached this moment in time. So we can conclude that time started a *finite* amount of time ago... and before that there was no time."

To reach this moment in time, time must have had to have reached half way from its start to now, then It'd have to reach half way from half way to now, then It'd have to have reached half way from then to now. Infact, time would never have reached this point because time can infinately be halved and never reach this moment, so how can we say that time ever begun? and how can we say that time will ever end? since it cannot even reach the present.

The guy has an agenda behind his rationale, he has no scientific or philosophical basis to his questions, all he has in mind is the answer, and he's thought out the questions to get to that answer.

A video response to him, it shows his wall of that video awhile ago, and you'll notice the comment's aren't positive. And even if that isn't enough, he even admits to censoring the comments at the very start of this video.
I hope you realize those clips were taken out of context..

and for some reason lots of people want to challenge or have some grudge against him for his thought out logic and beliefs

Loook at the comments.. people are hating on him for what? it was a stalemate in beliefs that would lead to no resolve so to continue would be pointless, yet look @ all the hate responses.

They're not very well thought out, or logical, and he's talking down to us all like we're idiots. That's why he gets bad responses.
