Yeh that was a good read, I agree with him wholeheartedly. There's not much point to having been given the other 90% if it's useless, so why is it there? But while we're on that subject, what do you think the other stuff is used for? Because I've never really thought that controlling body functions would require 90% if that's what the general belief is. How much does everyone think is devoted to things like walking, breathing and fine motor movements?

Bob, you gotta understand that the number 90% is completely arbitrary. There's no basis for it. That's the point of that paragraph; it's stating that all parts of the brain are necessary and functioning, not 90% one way or the other. The number was an example.

Yeh I realise that, I was just using it as an example, I didn't actually assume it's all metered out that way. I was just curious as to what percentage would be allocated to that kind of movement etc.
