Is taking away your porn:
It just seems extremely lame to say "Think of the children!" when taking away our freedom (to look at gorilla porn).

I don't like the idea of any government censoring the internet, regardless of their good intentions. This is the kind of nanny state crap I hope I won't ever see in this country. If you don't want complete access to the net, you should have to call them up and ask them to censor it. It isn't something that should be done automatically. I also don't like the idea of them checking a box next to your name that says, "He wants porn. Possibly of the horse variety."Mr. Roo said:AUSTRALIANS will be forced to contact their internet service provider to avoid having their access to the web restricted.
The restrictions are planned by the Federal Government to give greater protection to children from online pornography and violent websites.
Under the plan, all internet service providers will be required to provide a "clean" feed to households and schools, free of pornography and other inappropriate material.
Any internet users who want to "opt out" of the clean feed will have to contact their ISP.
