THe Beta Final

For the Beta Final thing, do I just install that or do I also have to have the ESF 1.2.3 version? I dled the Beta Final first in hopes that I didn't have to but it didn't work, so I installed 1.2.3 and it looks like the old version. Anyone can help me? I basically wanted to dl ESF again cause in videos + screenshots it looked alot better and more show-oriented.

I would appreciate any help people can give

For the Beta Final you need Steam.

The screenshots and videos are from the version that is not yet released.

And the open beta is a seperate mod install from 1.2.3 so you can have both if you want. But know that noone plays the open beta cause its to buggy.

I have steam. Ok so the game works now, but when I start it and go into a server (no servers) so when i create a server and go into it and pick a character, I walk around for like 5 seconds and then it shows up with a problem.

I think it's either when I start moving around or choose an attack.

You are trying to use a bot in ESF open beta.

Bots crash the game allmost instantly. No workarounds.

Its called an open beta for a reason.

Means its an unfinished product, and it has its flaws.

Stick with the 1.2.3 for now, that's the fun version for the moment!:fight:

Psh none of my friends do comp games like these. They are all xBox and PS3 and GAMECUBE.

Well as long as the bugs are getting fixed Cuz I rlly wanted to play the new one. Basically the reason why I installed it.

But 1.2.3 is also fun.

I've tried open beta, its pretty buggy, and last time i played it there where no servers too. better stick with 1.2.3 as long 1.3 is not released yet

At least the Open Beta is fun if you want a little bit more features, and fun to play with your friends and those who created a server for it. Just a damn shame it's so unstable .

Now my question. I'm installing Beta Final to.... I don't know anymore where I installed. I can start it, I can create a game (in find servers there r no games...?) and I'm about choosing a class and é voila "Half Life launcher stopped working". Can sum1 tell me what the problem is ? =( Just wanna play this...


Edit: Another Question, I installed 1.2.3, rc2 and the Big Pack. How to use the characters + transformations and I get an error. "tryallow: greater than free hunk" (don't know the full error msg). Sum1 knows why? =(

Open the console and type in "Version" and tell me what it says.

That's what it says. Btw, wasn't using open GL in Video, switched to it now. U mean that could fix that?


Edit:// DEAR GOD IT WORKS..... it was just the Open GL Setting? Thank u very much dood. =) But another question, can u explain how to use the powerlevel changer and where to get? Googled it already and found only rapid**** but it tells me everytime "there r no slots for non-membership users anymore". Would appreciate it.

Thank u again. Downloaded the .sma Powerlevel Changer, pasted into the core folder but hmm.... I think I'm doing something wrong. help? =)
