I'm having trouble qhile installing telus dsl it says that it couldn't renew ip addres thanks for any help.

"Installing"? Care to elaborate a bit?

Yes sorry for the lack of detail I did it on my way out so I did it in a bit of a rush.
I had Shaw high speed internet and decided to switch to Telus dsl. So i pop in the installetion cd and after a while of putting passwords and connecting the modem it tells me to wait a moment then says that it can not renew the ip address. I called their support tech but it didn't help me out much.
Again any help would be greatly appreciated.
