Every time trunks switch to the melee attack (sword) we can see the animation of him taking out the sword. When u choose a diffrent attack we can see this opposit animation. I like this animation but it's a little buggy, so my question is: should esf team disable this animation?

1. First of all, when trunks die with the sword he dies like this

2. If u switch fast to burning attack and attacking trunks is moving his hands but the sword is still in his hands for a few seconds

3. the solution to these problem is to disable any attack until
trunks put his sword in his back, this may take a short time, but it's critical if u want to switch attacks fast.

I personally think all of Trunks' attacking animations with the sword is far too weak to be good enough to be in a mod at all. Not to put down, because I probably couldn't do better if I tried, but the way he "swings" his sword just doesn't make sense to me. There's no arm extension, no slicing action. It's like all he uses is his wrist. They screwed Trunks over completely. I never wanted the sword in 1.1 and this is why. Now everyone's going to run around as my favorite character because a flimsy set of animations and the thrill of seeing someone fly across the screen from the flick a sword. No planning it seemed went into how to handle the switching of weapons whatsoever. It's all far too sloppy for me to like.

Other animations r fine... I think that the sword is a great feature, exept this thing and the fact that Trunks never hold his sword while charging power

They just added trunks sword as a bit of candy for us. the reason why there have been no huge animations or changes in his melee is because advanced melee(being planned in 1.2) is just around the corner.

lmao...smartass.

I never use Trunks anyway...for someone who is good at melee, being able to trans early is almost like cheating. Especially now that people lose so much pl when they die.

When Trunks transforms he speed goes to 250.....and I just looked at everyone else starting speed

goku 216
cell 220
buu 220
vegeta 216
And all the rest were one 180 i believe.

He only gets a little bust, so it's not really cheating if you use trunks your not that much fast then people that haven’t transformed yet... and he is not that good at melee, at least I haven’t seen it... if your revering to the sword its not that good. At least I don't think so. :)

I guess it has to be possible to fix these bugs without removing the animation...
