Super Smash Brothers: Brawl Japanese Site Countdown

Kirby doesn't kick people and stuff. Yoshi just jumps and eats things. But it's all quite workable, they made just gave them moves that look right.

For crap's sake they put in SOLID SNAKE. If there is any character that doesn't "fit in" to the whole cartoonish brawl thing it's him, but they made it work. They can make Sonic work.

Eh, after palying Sonic Battle (the link I posted), where the move list is similar to SSB, I couldn't see how Sonic wouldn't fit in.

I'll be a little "wtfed?" if he's not the fastest character though.

What a lame countdown. Basically the countdown led to the creator of the game starting to do a daily blog about the creation process of the game.

Huh, didn't know they had day-to-might time stages. Feeling that the battle has a visual duration may add to the epicness.

There are a couple of new screenshots, but nothing out of the ordinary.

I admit I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a m3g4t0n, but at least we'll be hearing more from the game in the future, on a regular basis, even if it's just little bits at a time.

I gotta say, people went insane when they found out Brawl was incorporating 3rd part characters. Yeah Snake was a stretch, a big one actually, but people started pulling out names of characters they would love to play as. And some of them even made a complete move set .

Nothing wrong with dreaming. I still want Sonic in, but that's more plausible than a lot more others I have read.

Aiming for a 2007 release?? That's big news to me, I thought it'd probably be a 2008 release.
