Who says he has to run and jump? They can do whatever they want with him, for what they think fits. Plus, there are still many attacks that could work for Sonic. His Up + A attack could be where he bounces up and down while spinning, and he could bounce three times. His Left or Right + A attack could be a launching kick, like he used in "Sonic Battle". His Down + A attack could be where he does his spin dash in place, and would almost be like Bowser's Down + A. I also have special attack ideas. His Up + B could be a spin dash into the air. His Left or Right + B could be where he does do a light speed dash after throwing a ring, which would be like Fox's dash, except you dash after the ring like in Sonic Battle. Finally, his Down + B attack could be where he charges up his spin dash, and once you let go, he hurls towards the other characters, and would be like Jigglypuff's Roll Attack. What I meant the most by, "he would fit in" is because of how he looks, not mainly by his attacks. Trust me, they'll make him fit and work if he is put into the game, and he probably has the biggest chance of making it in so, they'll make it work.
