Strange v1.2.1 Bug

It seems there is a bug that forces incredible amounts of shots (screenshots) to be taken. I noticed on ESF_Giant_Forest that I get incredible FPS lag while looking in a direction if I am far enough away, so I didnt play the map anymore but later today I found about 1000 screenshots from THAT map in my folder, wtf?

you're right it takes screenshots when you look in the direction where the fps go down

wat he said was right uno i look in the direction say right and my fps goes down to like 5 then turn round and its normal i thnk its the most stupid thing tht any map could do, the map look kinda kewl by the way

Yeah, it's definitly the oddest bug i've ever seen...i wish it wasn't there though, that map is beautiful, and would be awesome to play in. I wonder what could cause it to do that though.

yeap, I've encountered that bug myself as well,
and in won it kinda stucked too...

anyways, its a beautiful map indeed, though its a lil too small for a real esf fight
just to lurk around for eyecandy fun, nothing more imho

since noone of our coders make screenshots, and it doesn'T occur in WON, it's a steam bug
we think it occured after the last steam update ... so we can't fix it ... just play other maps

PS: we knew this ealier and hoped for another steam update which fixes it

I've just tested the map with Svencoop --> no screenshots
and, as expected, no trees or stones, so they must cause it (i think)

yeah, I tested it too...in normal HL: nothing wrong!
and I was able to localize the point that causes these weird actions if it's being rendered!

nop, it also happen's in won.
i only play with won so yeah, it's realy inoing.
my ping was only growing every sec and stopped on 700 ping 0_0

Yeh, we knew about that bug and didn't know how to fix it. We suggested that the map be removed until it can be found why this happens...apparently, they didn't want to. :/
