Strange ps bug

When you are power struggleing, soemtimes when you win your enemy get to kil himself instead of you winning. I get tired of that. I bet theres a way to fix it.

I don't think there's a way to fix that, they can always change to spectator mode or something....

A admin should take care of a lamer that keeps doing that stuff, or find a admin mod server that has some commands blocked.

I find that happens most when i curve a blast and someone PS's it. What happens (i think) is that when you get in a PS the ball that eventually hits you in a PS is the one closest to you. SO what happens is when you engage in a PS your balls switch, so his ball becomes your and your ball becomes his that way the ball that hits you is your opponents ball.

So in saying that, when i shoot a curved shot and someone PS it back at me, my ball (which became his) sometimes flies past me and the other one hits me (his ball, which became my ball) thus i kill myself

i think i know what it is,
when u shoot the beam, it pushes the other on, if the other one hits the wall first(the enemeis beam)the he kills himself, if yours hit the wall u kill him.....
its supposd to be that your beam will b bigger because of the ps,but if he is weak then his will kill him(hope u understood wtf i just sad ^^)

that's right ...
the loosers beam will explode first ... everywhen ...

but how should it be fixed ?!?!?! it's not so simple as it sounds ...

shouldn't explode the loosers one ??? that would be much to code
should both explode at same time and this would be the winners explosion ??? that's more to ode than the first

any other suggestion (here in Coding/ Bug Report) to solve this "problem" ???

exactly it isnt a bug or an error


its simply an exploit in the way hl is made

not as I think ...
I think it isn't really simple to change it ... it's more a problem, than a bug ...

but ... yeah ... as you said ... it's HL

maybe harSens has anyday the time to look for it ... we'll see in future releases ...

I gotta suggestion.
When youre winning , the beam becomes "Yours" (even though he controols it aka: adding more ki) and then when it blows up techannaly you get the kill.

as I said, isn't it ???
ok ... but it sounds still for much coding ...
it isn't such easy as it sounds :(

the beam of your opponent hitted himself just before your beam could hit him and kill him. u wont have it when your beam slides under you, if it does the beam of your opponent (o_O :scared: )
will kill you...

eh ... please make sure you read the posts in this thread before you post into it ... I explained it already ...
and I asked for more suggestions to solve this problem ... without big changes in Code
