hello guys i need help i want to play online but when i want join the free servers it say steam validation rejected whatshould i doo

i have the originaly hlf-life1 game and i can play this online no problems

i used esf ecx and big pack 8.4

i knwo but it works with cs 1.6 much faster ok i fix the problem it was something with a tex dokument xD sry guys love zeq2 lite and esf

It's ILLEGAL to use ESF with CS.

why is it illegal i buyd the game and why i can play with my friend via LAN==???? it say always something with class (c)

Saying it it works with Counter-Strike gives away you are not playing ESF through steam.

It's not illegal to use an old copy of 1.6 (assuming it's been legitimately purchased) to play ESF via LAN. It's just not going to work on steam so you won't be able to play online with CS 1.6. In order to play online you need a legal copy of HL. And we don't support the old non-steam versions since WON no longer exists.
